It's not necessary to choose desa park city. There are many cities that are good to stay in KL & Selangor - Bukit Jalil, Puchong, Cheras, Subang, Petaling Jaya, Kota kemuning, Semenyih etc

Those who like landed property will of course stay in adjacent townships, but that landed property mentality is changing with the younger generation.
@al16899 I know. I have friends who stay nearby KL city center. I also stayed there 20 years ago but I moved out since 20 years ago. I should say Mostly or majority local people will choose to stay out of KL city center. It's not about whether can afford it or not.
