- Knott’s Berry Farm is offering it's famous fried chicken dinners to go and we finally left the house to drive to Buena Park to go get it! Kitra has never tried Mrs. Knott's chicken dinner and let me tell you, it lived up the the hype! It is sooooo delicious! We ended up getting the 14-piece Mixed Chicken Meal Bucket which has: 2 sides of mashes potatoes, 1 side gravy, 1 side of whole kernel corn, 1/2 dozen biscuits with Boysenberry jam AND ONE WHOLE BOYSENBERRY PIE! drool

When I was a kid my family made 1 yearly trip to Anaheim usually over summer vacation... We would go up on a Friday night and stay at a hotel... Wake up and do Knott's Berry Farm and then grab a chicken dinner to go to eat back at the hotel... Wake up the next morning, have breakfast and pack up, then we hit Disneyland right at opening time! We would close out the park and then my Dad drove home with me sitting shotgun while my mother and sister slept in the back seat of the station wagon. I loved the drive home as well because back then they would play old radio shows on AM radio at night... "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!!! Those were some of the best memories of my childhood and why I LOVE Disneyland and Knott's to this day! Thanks for sharing your ordinary adventure that brought back some extraordinary memories!

I have a question for you: I always liked the 'Most ridiculous things to buy at Galaxy's Edge' video you made about 10 months ago. Can you make other videos like that for other sections of Disney, or other parks that you go to. Maybe a video every month? You know, for the people who never get to the amusement parks. Years ago, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner included: a side of *Cabbage with Ham (pieces)* and *a Rhubarb Sauce* which was so good. It's been years since I have been to KBF. Love their Chicken Dinner, I want some now but since I live in Northern California, that is too long of commute for *curb side pick-up* 😭

We need to go to Hobbiton! The feasts! The Party tree! Fireworks!
There is no shortage of lands, and it would be cool if it was more non-tech and hand crafted.
The Green Dragon inn, The Prancing pony in Bree, could be places to stay.
Falling waters at Rivendell, full of charming elfsong.
Do blacksmithing and see/ride Horses and go riding at Edoras, see the caves at Helms Deep and Moria.
Woodworking and elven beauty at lothlorian, and maybe greenhouses to take home beautiful elf plants.
You could climb orthanc and view all the land from the prow at Minas Tirith.
For creepier halloween lands, Mordor. Angmar. The city of the dead... Ooooooooo

That whole meal looked so good. An for that price, get so much more and probably better than going to KFC or Popeye's. An geeked out at the end. Thank you so much for reading my question. That made my day I would love to see a LOTR land or land by Tolkien. So hard to think of what franchise else would work and it's hard. Strangely I lived in Hogwarts!! When they were filming the first Harry Potter I got to stay at Christ College for a completely unrelated reason. I ate in the great hall, walked in the Cloisters up the stairs with the moving pictures (their pictures didn't move). There were screens over some stuff which was strange and people did say that filming was going on. But when the film came out I was like "hang on! I was there!!". They still do tours and it is an amazing place to visit.

Actually little known fact Mr Knott's wanted to keep the ghost town authentic so they bought some old buildings from calico ghost town and relocated them to the property

Hey guys. I have a comment and a question: First, the comment, I love that you were able to enjoy the Knott's chicken meal. I had it for the first time, probably back in the 70's when I was a kid and about 15 years as a stop over meal on an Halloween shopping trip. It hasn't changed and is always delicious. I read many years ago that Walter Knott helped in the development of the boysenberry.
The question: I noticed that in your Ordinary Adventures Logo, Pixel is wearing a space suit with what appears to be Navy Rank. Did either/both of you serve in the Navy (if so thank you for your service and Semper Fi), if not, what is the significance of the stripes.
Neither of us served. Honestly I think the designer we hired just put it in there. We just directed him to put them in space suits.
My husband and I drive 2 hours each way to get this chicken.

The one thing I wish they sold in a gallon is the Boysenberry Punch. I know they sell the concentrate in the park but I’d buy that with the chicken dinner for sure if it was offered on their pickup menu. Have you guys tried the Boysenberry Punch?

Ordinary Adventures; whats your holy grail so to speak of your Star Wars collection? Anything specific that you've had since you were kids that is just immortalized? Perhaps for some inspiration, mine might have to be a homemade DL-44 made from an old BB gun and 3D printed parts that i put like so much time and effort into. Any other fan would look at it and quote Luke from A New Hope by saying "what a piece of junk!" but to me its so special!

At Droid Depot they should have silver and green R-2 and BB units. I don't mean combined but separate colors. A pink and also purple R-2 unit as well. Also more clear domes with the colors mentioned above.

Wow! Your idea of biscuits or our idea of biscuits are so different. Ours usually come in a packet and normally have chocolate, jam or custard on or in them. A lot of Brits dip them in their tea.......ewww, I don't. Your biscuits look like our version of scones. The chicken looked amazing.
What are you doing to keep busy other than making videos? Do you play any board games with/against each other? What do you recommend?

Question for you. If you woke up tomorrow morning and found that somehow you were in the Star Wars universe, not a theme park, this is for real and there’s no way to get home, what do you do? Where would you go in the universe to set up a new life? Would you join a rebellion or find a quiet place to lead a relatively normal life? One of the worse chicken dinners I've ever had stick with Cracker Barrel or something like that. All the sides are frozen food. I used to go here with my family every time we went to Knott's Berry Farm since I was a kid went there recently I'm 38 years old now it was one of the worst chicken dinners I've ever had now that I know the difference between good and bad food this is like cafeteria food. A banquet frozen dinner is better and I'm not kidding

I made the official Disneyland recipe churro bites a week ago and they are UHhhhmazing (provided you follow the recipe to a "T").
It was only around 40 each way...for LA that is really good because normally traffic takes muuuuch longer than that :)

Mrs. Knotts is so delicious and you are right, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Of course, a 5 out of 5 from our family too. The pies are worth every bite.
