Beautiful water! My husband and I bought some googles and snorkels way more than I planed but useful for when I get scuba certified. For now though they go with us every beach vacation we take so we can do a little snorkling

We were there on the first of November. We enjoyed the island, but honestly, the buffet was actually not very good at all.

The buffet at Half Moon Cay wasn't good when we went last year. I think there's been a general cheapening of the food on Carnival post covid.

Very informative video. It sounds like you guys are platinum on Carnival. I'm working on getting there myself. For what it's worth, Princess Cays isn't truly a private island. It's a resort on the southern end of Eleuthera, which has thousands of real residents. CocoCay and Half Moon Cay are true private islands.

I use a GoPro Hero 10 for underwater footage. It’s a waterproof camera.
We had to wait until open call to depart for Princess Cays because we failed to get the water passes the morning of 😩 next time, we'll be prepared!! Lol

How was the tendering process getting on and off the ship? Was it pretty smooth?
It was pretty smooth for us since we have priority (and take advantage of it) but some people didn’t make it off the ship cause the boats had to slow down due to weather.
Question - Carnival offers shell chairs for rent on Princess Cays, is it worth purchasing?
They are worth it if you plan to sit in one spot AND don’t plan to get off the ship early. If you get off early you can get one of the covered areas like we did. Just keep in mind it can get hot under those shells. When I’ve had them before we’ve asked if they can prop the back up on a large rock or something otherwise it’s like being in a steam room when it’s really hot outside.
Does it cost you anything to take the water taxi
No it doesn’t. It’s included.
How does sweet guest get tender ticket priority? Do they also get it on the way back?
They’ll leave information in your cabin on where to meet for priority tender (usually a lounge or theater). You only get it leaving the ship, not returning to the ship.

Is all the food included in the cost when booking?
All of the food except for specialty dining (steakhouse, sushi, Italian restaurant, seafood shack). Buffet, main dining room, guys burgers, blue iguana, pizza, Mongolian wok, deli are all included.
That was real unfortunate with the water shuttle tickets. I’m very glad I used some of that OBC to get clamshells
