As a greasefang player, the Traverse package is incredible. With the control/rb matchups Traverse helps you grind and keep more consistant hands. With Traverse you can also get your silver bullets out of the sideboard too, which is always a plus. Highly recommend the traverse/vessel version. This version just seems really medium

Tried traverse version and it sucks ass against any deck with counters, haven't dropped games since changing it

@rashaad wimbush Traverse adds a level of grindy. Having 7 maindeck greasefangs and keeping more consistant hands is huge.

@@jewski6852 not for me it don't. Card is ass there's a reason the deck has dropped in tier and isn't even getting consistent top 8 anymore and it's because that package sucks

@@TheLonelyDark well, it's the version putting up the best results. I myself have been on an absolute tear with the Traverse version. Deck is good. The only ass things I've seen in the list are the extra mill/ reanimatiob spells in this list.

@@jewski6852 either you don't play against control or they were bad players. Several of the cards in my list also just came out so they couldn't have been on prior deck lists. The longer you take to setup the easier it is for graveyard hate to make the game 10 times harder

Doesn’t it feel worse to get eldritch evolution countered than traverse?? You lose 3 mana and a creature vs 1 mana

Hard agree. As someone who has played both versions, the Traverse version is both more consistant and equitable.

Don't play it into open blue mana without hand knowledge

@@TheLonelyDark the same exact thing could be said about Traverse. Plus Traverse let's you confidently Olay a 20 land deck
