@@anshulksingh i have a 30mbps plan (not jio) and mi smart tv and i can watch hd channels on thop tv without any hassle even though my wifi router is not near the tv. 10mbps is more than enough for thop tv
I would recommend you to buy mi box instead of set top box

Bhai mjhe jio fibre pr upgrade krna hai aur 999 wala plan mere liye suitable hai . Mere questions hai -
(1) kya hame isme repeater use kr skte hai ya sirf mobile devices connect kr skte hai.
(2) kya hame 999 mein saare plans including Netflix 4k content milega?
(3) agar mjhe in future router shift krna pade from one floor to another toh kya ye possible hai, agar haan toh kya uske liye charges dene honge?

I think you should go for it. I got it installed today. I am not getting internet in bedroom TV which is 15 -20 feet away with 2 walls in between.

Bro 399 ki data limit aur speed kitni hai muje family k liye connection lena hai ghar me sab mostly UA-cam hi dekhte hai aur mere ghar me 40 inch (vise) tv hai jo smart tv nhi hai to kya me youtube tv me open kar skta hu.
Mere liye jio plan ya cable operator plan kaunsa best rhega, router hai mere paas mostly sab youtube videos hi dekhte hai.
Agar cable operator se plan lu to kaun sa mbps plan best rhega. THANKS..
Once Jail break is available for that box then all the mobile based lite version will work in SD mode just assuming all the software application have roundabout this will also have once its available in big scale
