Hi Johnno I know Roelands Hill very well. The views from the top looking towards the coastal plains with the Indian Ocean back ground and Bunbury in the distance are fabulous, especially on a beautiful clear day such as you had. As a kid I remember the original road snaking its way down the escarpment - very narrow, windy with some sharp corners and steep drop offs. On one occasion when descending the hill we had an electrical short in our Holden farm ute and needed an auto electrician to repair the damage before proceeding. Alls well that ends well. Thanks for another nice video

Thank you Johnno. Big climb to Collie. We did that on the way back from Bunbury a couple of weeks ago but not towing a big load. 😁 Beautiful country. Cheers
It's funny how climbing a big hill with a heavily-laden truck is so similar to climbing on a bicycle. You need those short gears because of the power to weight ratio.
