Aisha was definitely being her real self because that's how she was treated with how the church doesn't like that Paul has a second wife, Lilia. I can understand why she thought Rudeus was being unfair since she did work very hard on the test and passed while Norn didn’t get a good score but got what she wanted.

      *Concubine, not second wife
Notice I said, to the conversation Sylphie and Rudy were having, that it was all going to lead to misunderstandings about favoritism and soon after we got this scene. It is my opinion that Aisha was out of line because both of the girls do not want to go to school and Aisha just played her brother for a fool knowing she would pass with flying colors to get what SHE wanted. Norn would still be forced to go to school since it was obvious she wouldn't get a high score, all she asked for was that she at least stay at the dorms. Now, after getting what she wanted, Aisha acts out not even thinking about the fact that Rudy is trying to reach a compromise with Norn because the whole point is to get her to go to school. Plus, such a compromise might do Norn some good since she and Aisha are always at each other's throats. Or should I say Aisha is always rather condescending towards Norn? Aisha didn't have it easy but she had her mother to teach her things for her age and things a little girl her age should not know as well. She's prepared for a lot but emotionally she's still just a child. Norn has spent quite a huge part of her life with her father searching for her mother. It's not her fault she's lacking in education and Aisha shouldn't be pointing it out all the time and basically calling her stupid.
Norn also clearly holds grudges and doesn't care that her dad and Rudy reached an understanding way back then since he and Paul were basically taking out anger and grief on one another. Rudy doesn't know how to begin making amends with her. The compromise of the dorms seems like a good way to start, giving her some space. Aisha found a way to make the whole "I want to live at the dorms" about her and her supposedly inferior place within the family when there are so many variables from so many years at play here. I'm not saying the feelings she expressed aren't valid. They are a heavy baggage she has to carry her whole life and she probably feels the need to prove herself all the time. But in this particular moment, she had already gotten what she wanted. No school. What was so wrong with Norn getting half of what she wanted as well? Bias and inferiority took over and they started speaking. Bias and resentment against somebody that hasn't, in Aisha's eyes, proved herself worthy or useful in any way. Why would she have to though? She's the full biological Paul Greyrat daughter that's been overprotected for fear of losing another family member.
None of them will see it this way because ALL of them are still just children.
"We are responsible adults now"... AS IF

@@ZanyAnimeReacts First of all Lilia IS his confirmed second wife not concubine. Norn did want to go to school but was both afraid to fall the test and didn't understand Rudeus's words about money because she's stubborn. Aisha actually worked hard on the exam so I don't know why you keep saying she tricked her brother. She worked hard to get what she wanted while Norn failed but still went to live in the dorms. Norn is someone who lacks communication skills so she couldn't fit in school and jumps to conclusions about Rudeus. Maybe instead of trying to paint Aisha as a bully but excuse Norn who was also in the wrong, react better.

It's 4:30am for me so I cannot give you a proper reply right now to everything. All I can admit to right now is being forgetful about some details and no matter how hard I try, remembering isn't going to happen right now. However, if you can provide me with the part in the anime where it says Lilia is also his wife, not concubine, as stated here, then I have no problem saying I'm wrong. I can very easily say "cool, I was wrong. Thx for the source." As for the rest of the discussion, I apologize, for it will unfortunately have to wait. I hope you don't mind.

@@ZanyAnimeReactsNo I'm not lol, I can just understand the details and characters. Novel reader or not, you are making wrong assumptions about both Norn and Aisha.
