About that Arya scene. Arya is playing the Game of Faces with Sansa. She is lying for all of those. She doesn't want to be the Lady of Winterfell, Arya hates all the lady like things. She said she remembered Sansa standing there, perfectly fine, during Ned's execution. She was fighting, screaming, and being held back by the Kingsguard. She said she would rather die before serving the Lannisters. She served as Tywin's cupbearer at Harrenhal. Arya is playing the Game of Faces, and she trusts Sansa. She gives her Littlefinger's dagger, pointed at Arya, to protect Sansa from Littlefinger.

Arya isn't ever going to kill Sansa lol. She's playing Littlefinger by making him think that his plan is working. Which is why she gave Sansa the dagger, to remind her who their actual enemy is.
I don't think any Stark is clever enough to play littlefinger yet, even Arya.
little fingers number is up soon..but he makes a good villain just like Cercie. Bran could ruin him if he wanted.

Littlefinger wasn't even in either of those scenes when she confronted Sansa, so how are they playing a game with him if he's not even there to see it?
They need proof before they kill Littlefinger if they want to keep the Knights of the Vale on their side. Also based on the conversation between Sansa and Littlefinger, it is clear that Littlefinger is eavesdropping on the Arya and Sansa conversations as that would be the only way of avoiding being caught in a lie about the source of the note Arya found.

That's what I am saying. The warrior ran back to Athens, announced the victory, then collapsed and died in public.
Gibbs6481, it is also worth noting that the distance he ran was far longer and contemporary accounts don't say he died. The distance was actually the distance of the first Olimpic marathon.
He run from Athens to Sparta prior to the Battle (152.5 miles) = Spartathlon
He run from Marathon to Athens after the Athenian victory (26 miles) = Marathon
His collapse happened after he run the "Marathon" due to exhaustion

Sansa made a throwaway comment a couple of episodes ago about how if Jon thought the lords of the North were going to simply wait around, like Ghost, he was crazy. So, I would assume Jon left Ghost at Winterfell
CsprsSassyHrly yeah that's my assumption. I get that this season has so much cgi that it's just not cost effective to have him play a large part. I wish they would have had him laying down next to Bran in the gods wood.

Part of me thinks Arya will kill Sansa or Littlefinger to use their faces to get close to Cersei and kill her. Part of me also wants to go make a sandwich.

when people look too much into a scene like the eye on long claw lol. I thought it was just a reflection or water splashing onto the eye nothing else.

18:10 - Visirion doesn't "Burst into flames." He is breathing fire when he gets hit in the shoulder/neck and obviously it pierces his throat, thus flames "burst" out of the side of his body, where he was hit.
Blue eyes wight dragon
Blue eyes white* dragon....its a sentient dragon like the white walkers, not a zombie like the wights. Notice the way he turns it is same as how he turns human babies.
That's just speculation. He looks light a wight, not a white walker, and seemingly only babies can be turned. He wasn't a baby anymore

I don't know. Storyline and character development are relatively cheap. No need for massive sets and special effects.
Writing a good story can't be rushed, just look at how long GRRM takes to write his masterpieces.
They decided to take a more bombastic approach. More dragons, more battles, crazy costumes, ect
no thats not what i mean at all, i want further backstories, further arguing. more flushed out bickering between the sisters. it just feels so rushed, one moment they are happy to see eachother the other they hold knives at eachothers throats. i just feel like it went to fast, like i'm missing a few pages from the books to to say

I am so for Tormund and Brienne. He really sees her as desirable in every way as a woman and a warrior and dreams of being with her. It would be one of the purest forms of love on the GOT universe.
Arya has never wanted to be a Lady or wear pretty dresses. There are multiple scenes in season 1 where she says so. Sansa would know that Arya was lying during that scene. After Brienne saved Sansa & Theon, Brienne told her that when she saw her, Arya wasn't dressed like a lady. Sansa smiled & said she wouldn't be. Arya was secretly communicating with Sansa. Just my opinion.

There is a lot that the undead can do that would normally be physically impossible. Like walking without muscles.
The wights can scream without lungs and vocal chords. They can see without eyes. They can jump off a cliff without smashing into bits. It is not very credible that the white walkers can control so many wights individually in melee combat, etc. It makes no sense at all, but its fun to watch.
I just realized one thing. When the night king turns a human or any animal into a wight he just lifts his hands but when he turns one into a white walker he touches them. THE DRAGON IS A WHITE WALKER

Can something already dead be turned into a white walker? Isn't that why he needed craster's baby boys?
Only alive creatures can be turn into white walkers, like Craster's sons. Dead creatures can only be turn into wights.
If he could do that, he wouldn't need the deal with Craster. Furthermore why would he even make wights at all, if he could turn everything into the superior white walkers?
How did those babies grow into old walker men? Serious question.

(Beric? ) he points at the Night king and says" we need to kill him, he turned them all" to what Jon replies: "you don't understand" 😳😳 what was that about? I only noticed it after watching that part for like the 3rd time.... I'm confused!
If they brought a Wight through the wall, surely that means the mark on Bran is still active and the Night King's army can also pass through?
David Tute exactly what i was thinking because if the spell was still on the wall to stop the army of the dead then they wouldn't have been able to get it through the wall
David Tute someone brought up that mabe the wights work like Vampires, who can not enter your home except invited. Which means if brought through the wall they can pass it, similar like the Wights in S1/2(forgot the season, but those 2 Guys who got raised in castle black)
Well a wight has crossed the wall before bran got marked...but then again that wight did turn in castle black so he was already beyond the wall

Rockstar Star wights die from fire, dragon glass, and vylarian steel. Breathing fire when fire would kill them wouldn't make sense. Also it wouldn't be very climatic if all battles ended with a field of fire, i want the living charging the dead fighting in a last stand battle fort after fort/castle. But thats just me, they can write it however they want.
There is one thing though. The Night King can turn the dead without any contact, yet for Viserion he chose to raise it and touch it on the face,. Just as he does when creating white walkers. It was probably for dramatic effect, or perhaps with massive beasts touch is necessary, but it could also mean Viserion is something in between.
Btw, one could argue that a wight dragon is uniquely fire resistant, because it uniquely was during life. Assumedly its physique doesn't really change.
It will breath fire but it will be blue.... it doesn't make sense that all of a sudden the night king can alter the biology of an animal.

The marathon runner (named Pheidippides) didnt run from Marathon to Sparta but from Marathon to Athens to deliver the message that Athenian army had won the battle against the Persians. This route also is the route of the Classical Marathon which take place every year here in Athens.

Hound - left to die then appears again into a more compassionate character
Jon - resurrected after death
Gendry - rescued before being sacrificed
Tormund - can't think of anything
Beric - died 6 times
Thoros - resurrected Beric 6 times
Jorah - at the brink of death after stone disease, and is saved.

This episode confirms even more the theory of Jon as the prince that was promised, first he has the blood of the dragon because he's a Targaryen, born amidst smoke and salt,Jon came out of the water as if he was born again and around him the smoke of the dragons and the salt from... somewhere, I don't think lakes are salty but whatever and under a bleeding star, Viserion falling while bleeding is kinda similar. I don't know, this is just my thought.

who makes armour for the white walkers? since metal shatters when touched by a walker, what material is that? does the night king have a smith to make armour and weapons? and the sigil? the night king sure hav a sence of fasion though.
it doesn't shatter when touched by a walker, it shatters when it clashes with an ice sword. Also, the walkers are sentient beings, it is not impossible that they would have blacksmiths and maybe even an entire society and culture

I really went off Arya in this episode, Sansa survived in her own way, suffering isnt a competition

One part of this video was incorrect, the Athenian runner didn't die when he reached Sparta, and Sparta isn't 26 miles from Marathon. The runner did run from Athens to Sparta to get help for the battle, but that's more like 250km.
He died when, after the battle, he ran to Athens from Marathon - which is a marathon's distance - and told them of the victory, and there collapsing of exhaustion.
Also let's be honest, that letter calling Sansa to king's landing was 100% forged by littlefinger

I think Sansa sent Brienne away so that Brienne wouldn't be there to protect Arya not because Sansa trusts Arya. I think that was the whole thing with Little Finger bringing that up. Brienne isn't just there to protect Sansa from Arya but Arya from Sansa (and Little Finger) too. This seemed really obvious to me.
Lula6327 Only thing is, Brienne has already sparred with Arya and she knows Arya can protect herself, so why would she choose to protect her over Sansa who can't fight for herself?? Brienne also made a vow to sansa and bent the knee to her so she's sworn to protect sansa. Arya also denied Brienne's request to protect her.
Amie Alison I agree if Sansa and Arya were in a one on one fight Brienne would protect Sansa but if Sansa tried to use her power to arrest or kill Arya I think Brienne would feel the need to step in. Would she? Maybe not but Little Finger put that thought in Sansa's brain and that's why I think she sent her away, to make sure she wasn't there to protect Arya.

if killing a white walker kills all wights they created, why didn't a big chunk of wights die at hardhome when jon killed his first white walker. theres only a handful of walkers so presumably they've each created a large number of wights
My Theory...
1. The Starks are actually direct descendants of the "First Men" making Jon Snow the heir-apparent to the Night King.
2. This means that Jon has the same abilities as the Night King he just hasn't tapped into them yet.
3. The Night King brought back Valarian, but Jon will override the Night Kings control (Jon is both Starke & Targaryen) and he (Jon) will be the rider of the Blue-eyed dragon!
Jon should put his hair down again, I miss his flowing black locks.

Philippides did'nt die running to Sparta but to Athens from Marathon, only to announces victory over Persian troops landing there. He did the run to Sparta tho, but it was before the battle.
I don't think there is a budding love between Jon and Danny. I think they both greatly admire each other. It kills me to hear folks talk about lust/love between those two.

13:33 The Night King is clearly a ruthless, no-holds-barred commander, and it isn't as though *all of humanity* would die if Jon lost a one-on-one, 'old way' showdown with him. There is simply no reason that the Night King would sign up for such a fight. It's a neat idea, but old Nighty King is just too smart to sign his entire species up for obliteration like that, when the payoff is basically a drop in the bucket if he were to win.
I think the main reasons Sansa sends Brienne off are 1) Brienne was mentioned by LF as someone who might take care of Arya for Sansa if Arya was to go rogue and 2) Sansa swore an oath to Brienne never to ask her do something that would bring dishonor to Brienne - which includes using her to take of the "Arya problem" (as LF sees it) when Brienne was pledged to keep both girls safe.
Im realy disliking this seasons analysis videos..... they are NO WHERE NEAR in depth as last years. And the comparisons at detail #13...cmon those were terrible connections. Dissappointed :(

The logic behind what people do is what makes got great
people think it's forced drama. I think they could have made it come off better if Arya had been harboring hatred for Sansa in all the seasons leading up to this one. Remember in Season 1 Sansa pleaded with Ned to stay in the capitol because she "loved" Joffrey and Arya thought she was nuts.
Well most people forget that Ned died because in Season 1 Sansa ran to Cersei because she wanted to stay in KL with her beloved Joffrey. This was a total act of betrayal in Arya's mind and she thinks in absolutes. So Sansa was disloyal to become Queen. That did not happen but Arya does not know it. Now the Raven now confirms she was disloyal to the House Stark by again referencing her beloved Joffrey and urging Robb to Come to KL to bend the knee to a horrible person. So when she sees Sansa with the lords of the North again she thinks Sansa is going to be disloyal once again to be Queen betraying Jon!

All she remembers is her being up there when her father was beheaded and then finds a scroll that says my beloved Joffrey. She has a temper and she's pissed. And she sort of has a right to be, especially after Sansa said I won the war, not Jon! And mentioning how littlefinger helped. She's already pissed at littlefinger too. It looks like littlefinger and Sansa are together and plotting.
She was close to Jon and doesn't like how people are talking about her. Sansa is also different then she was. Add all these things up and they make sense. And she didn't kill Sansa for chirst sake. She's just pissed and is telling Sansa how it is. She
I liked it too. I agree with the previous comments made here. From her perspective she still sees some of the characteristic, that she never liked in Sansa. Arya knows exactly what's going around her and it will definitely reveal itself later. This is what we have been waiting for, to see her use the skills she has learned. And it wasn't just about weaponry but about the mind as well.
Tormond and Brienne, I want to see them have monster babies. Haha....best line in the episode amongst so many others.
also with characters looking "beyond the wall" the night king has always been looking for a way past the literal wall and now he quite possibly has the key

If the children of the forest made the night king and the night king made white walkers and regular whites then why not make all of them white walkers instead of just the undead? Surely an army of 10k white walkers is more powerful than just regular whites. (Yes I know there is a lot more than 10k of them)
the person needs to be alive to be a white walker, hence Craster's babies; which turned to the White walker posse we always see.
