    IQ comparison with a 300mm f2.8 prime please

      ef 300 2.8 is ii is already as good as image quality is going to be. Lens optics have made barely if at all any increase in over 10 years.
      People should be questioning chromatic aberration and vignetting more than anything

    is this gives PRIME quality out put being zoom lens ????? is it better than 70-200 f2.8 in terms of sharpness and output ?

      Primes being sharper than zooms hasn't been true for like over a decade now. I mean if you're using budget lenses... yeah. If you're using L series lenses they're all the same IQ. IQ hasn't gotten better on professinal lenses in over a decade like I said. It's not going to be better IQ than the rf 70-200 2.8. It's going to be the same.
      You get this lens if you're shooting two bodies and two lenses so you can compile it all into one and especially if you want to use teleconverters.
