So, after Fujiyama a place called the Bread Basket moved in and remodeled the place. They had fresh bread, donuts, pastries, etc. They also introduced Weirton to rolled ice cream which closest place for that is Pittsburgh. They also had a small lunch menu with different sandwiches and other Panera like items. unfortunately, they did not last very long at all and eventually Sam’s moved in. Sam’s was one of the most delicious seafood places I have ever tasted and I feel like we were really thankful to have a restaurant like this far north. This building is definitely cursed.
I haven't driven to Weirton for forty years. About all I remember was the old steel mill. Did Weirton have a Kmart? Hey Wallie. Checkout the Lowe's stores. Our store here in Hagerstown MD had some nice Halloween and Christmas stuff. So does the Christmas Tree Shoppe.
Unbelievable how long I've been following you. I remember the earlier video - so surreal. Definitely have grown in your content creating. Thanks for the update here🙂
Well I was crying a hour ago because I want the HO scale Cp red barn train but I don’t care about the school good grads and wallie kalay and guys I love you all
Yeah there was one in Mineral Wells it was a KFC yeah but now it's an ichiban sushi seafood or something yeah and another KFC was in Weatherford but that building is still vacant I think 🤔
there also was a bread place here before southern eateries they both weren't open long maybe a year each? the rent and sale price of this is high sadly don;t see anyone coming into it anytime soon. good location being on main drag in weirton.
I can answer that..people who live downtown and shop at the Krogers use the buggies to take their food home than abandon them rather than park them in their front yards.
I moved to weirton when this was fujiyamas hibachi..awesome place..than it was bread basket which is when it was remodeled to its current condition..main menu items were bread pastries and ice cream...a block away is Mario dicalos...their bread is out of this world .. I buy 2 loaves at least once a week...two blocks down is gus's goodies..a hometown family owed fresh baked cake dounut and pastries shop that again is a hometown favorite...I see the ladies heading into work at 2 am to bake them heavenly dounuts when I'm getting off work...I knew they wouldn't make last next to either of them ....then it was Sam's...went once..it was so weird and the food was over priced and under cooked...covid and all the problems that came with it definitely didn't help
I never tried this place before but it sucks when something is good that goes out of business and the ones that sucks seems to hold on for dear life. But anyways, I hope that it will return as a Hardee's....I am partial to them because I like their biscuits 😋 😉 🙂 😊 😜!
Ceeeeekin lol thats good one there or how ever else they spelled it I think mine sounds better Ahhhaaa.i love Hershey's ice cream can't find it too much round here no more..

It's not the building, it's Sams--they closed their location in Manassas, VA. It was open as recently as 3 weeks ago.

Hey Wallie. Checkout the Lowe's stores. Our store here in Hagerstown MD had some nice Halloween and Christmas stuff. So does the Christmas Tree Shoppe.
Yes Weirton had a Kmart with the auto service.
Nice wallie 😃
I enjoyed this video, Wallie! You were in my hometown! Cool! Have a Samslicious Day!
Awesome Wallie
Cool video Wallie! Not often do you get to film the same place as two different businesses!
Unbelievable how long I've been following you. I remember the earlier video - so surreal. Definitely have grown in your content creating. Thanks for the update here🙂
Now I want chocolate..... Gee thanks. Got to wait till tomorrow. Good video by the way.
Awesome video Wallie, 😎👍👍
WallieB, would you be interested in being a judge at a grilling contest at Busy Beaver Mount Pleasant on Saturday, October 15?
Never heard of a Sam's but looks like it was a nice place. A shame that it didn't survive. Thanks for the video.
Awesome video man
Well I was crying a hour ago because I want the HO scale Cp red barn train but I don’t care about the school good grads and wallie kalay and guys I love you all
Never heard of this place; it does look like an old school Hardee's restaurant though?
the inside of the restaurant look very nice 😀👍
Hey wallieb26 my best guest to why both restaurants closed would have to be the rent is just to high or the taxes for the building or the land
Probably a lease issue or the owner sold it
Prices looked a bit steep, especially for an area that's not loaded with money, that might have done 'em in.
Hi 👋 Wallie.
I remember that earlier episode
Sam's is great here in Arkansas. Food is very good, and portions are just right for us.
I was so bummed when Sam’s closed their food was so good
Yeah there was one in Mineral Wells it was a KFC yeah but now it's an ichiban sushi seafood or something yeah and another KFC was in Weatherford but that building is still vacant I think 🤔

I wonder why there are shopping 🛒 carts

Just looked up Sam's in KY. and the only one was in Radcliff and it's permanently closed. The last review was Jan. 2022.
I want To go That Abandoned sears in town east mall it closed i think 2021 is in Dallas TX
In think across the street that. Place thinks that was a old DQ you think guys
It was because here in Waterloo, IL we had a DQ that looked just like that one across the street.
It definitely was a DQ back in the day!
As a resident of downtown weirton, yes.
That used to be a dairy queen.

That's in west Virginia I did not know that never seen it...hum
I've lived here my whole life and was never in that place...now I'm sorry after seeing the menu...
Rent and mortgages in downtown weirton are basically the same as living in downtown pittsburgh tbh no idea why
I live in evansville and we have sa Sam's southern eatery
Sam's southern eatery is short lived restaurant Damm! This is how many workers got low wages.
Well at least that place has character Wally it's not a shoebox
I never tried this place before but it sucks when something is good that goes out of business and the ones that sucks seems to hold on for dear life. But anyways, I hope that it will return as a Hardee's....I am partial to them because I like their biscuits 😋 😉 🙂 😊 😜!
