- There's a hole in Flightradar24? Yes, there is, and it's over Ukraine! No commercial aircraft are allowed to fly in the Ukrainian airspace, sadly a now war-torn region. The flights I showed in the video are obviously not there anymore, as this was recorded hours before it is now published. However I've been looking and there are now constantly military aircraft flying by the region, and that will probably be the case until this whole thing ends. Dude, those 2 planes aren’t info gathering, they’re refuellers in a holding pattern.
The planes going in circles are aerial refueling tankers that enables fighters but also bigger planes to refuel mid-air without having to land
Ngl that’s kinda scary. My heart goes out to the families and people in Ukraine at the moment, and that that stay safe

The aircrafts doing what looks to be a holding pattern are aerial refuelers as I’m pretty sure there are Allied fighter jets flying around Ukraine but not getting involved

the reason there is a hole in flightradar24 is when passenger airliners fly through ukraine the turrets at ukraines cities might think that they are rassia's fighter jets so they have to go around the country. (explained by a ukrainian man)

These circling planes are tankers. Flightradar doesn't show it, but there are jet fighters flying alongside these tankers that patrol NATO airspace. There are some flights to Ukraine, but Flightradar doesn't show them
