The Griffith Observatory is always a good time . Did you see yesterday's episode at the tar pits ? ua-cam.com/video/OWPliGNw2lc/v-deo.html
TheDailyWoo I watch all of your videos Adam! huge fan from the Philippines 😊
I watch every one! I had to go way way back just to get my daily dose. I love your videos! Thank you for sharing some of your life with us
I love them all!! The best place I found to get the best shot of the Hollywood sign is parking along the road at Lake Hollywood park and walking up a short distance
TheDailyWoo I love your vids. Can you film when those noisy kids aren't around? LOL
TheDailyWoo Yes I saw yesterday's and today. I look forward to what ever content you do . I always learn something. Keep up the Awesome work. God Bless
You are truly gifted. You explained the things you experienced so clearly and made it all so interesting. I'm NEVER disappointed in your informative and entertaining vlogs. Thanks, you're GREAT !
Really appreciate that . Thank you
You're welcome, I just love the way you present your subjects. Have fun today.
Exploring The Griffith Observatory 2023 ua-cam.com/video/t0cWQTSSOkM/v-deo.html
I went there in 1986 to see Halley's Comet.
My dad used to take me there when I was a kid. I remember that huge projector in the middle of the planetarium. On Sunday's they used to do a lazer show inside the planetarium all synced to the music of Pink Floyd Darkside of the Moon. A personal favorite of both my father and I. Great video as usual man. :)
Glad you enjoyed "experiencing Laserium, the only continuing cosmic laser show in the world..."
I saw Laserium at Griffith Park in 1977. Was so blown away by Glenn Thomas's show that I quit my job, took 3 crash courses in electronics and became one of the 1st 2 laserists to open Laserium I at the London Planetarium 1978-80, before going freelance, developing my own gear and doing gigs.
Now, I'm 72, developing a similar, but MIDI/DAW controlled laser synth projection system for my living room. 😜
Love this! The closest I've gotten to this is in the game Grand Theft Auto... LOL! :)
NOLADEEJ same here 😂
NOLADEEJ Same here
notice how the Vinewood sign is to the left of he observatory and not to the right
I always find it funny how people play GTA don't realize how similar they modeled the map to the real life. I basically live in the GTA map you play 😅
NOLADEEJ i live 2 miles from there in a city called glendale
That mural is really epic! It's amazing to think about what Tesla was able to do. He was way ahead of his time.
One of my favourite places in the world, and all donated to the city of Los Angeles by a fellow Welshman Griffith J Griffith! Makes me proud of my country :-)
Adam I'm really glad you make videos. You're like a modern day Huell Howser and inspired me to make videos! Thanks mate.
Thanks for the kind words buddy
Still waiting for flat earthers to open their own museum featuring exhibits like these that prove the earth is flat
And this proves nothing. Your problem is you think this proves something when it clearly does not.
There is the Creation Museum in Kentucky if that counts.
The earth is flat and the moon is swiss cheese!
Yeah just like how they said boats sail over the horizon but that isn't true either you can zoom in and bring it back into focus
The proof is at Griffith Park. Take a telescope and have a friend with a laser at Santa Monica Beach. Measure it and you will see the drop is only 329.78 feet. If the Earth was "round", like you crazy round earthdurrs think, then the drop measurement would be 347.42 feet. Because the drop of the Earth should be 6 inches per mile. Santa Monica is 13.3r4 miles. The math proves the Earth isn't flat. If you take a rocket into space the horizon never drops.
I enjoyed every bit of this video. Singing and whistling as well. Blessings to you, Adam.
I totally didn't have time when I was in l.a to go to this. Now I'm bummed that I should of made time. It's so fascinating
Check it out next time for sure it's a cool place
Every single video of Adam’s fills me with pure excitement! 🤩
Wow. I haven't been there in over 40 years as a grade school (elementary school) kid. So much has changed. Thank you Adam for highlighting another of my childhood fieldtrip locations. We also took a tour of the Lawrey (sp?) Seasons Plant.
I always enjoy seeing photos and videos the Griffith Observatory because of two of my favorite movies filmed there Rebel Without a Cause and of course The Terminator. so cool to see you back there today.
I remember going here for a field trip in 5th grade. It's nice seeing the observatory again.
That’s amazing that a place with all of that fun educational stuff in it is actually free to get into. Looks like an awesome place to visit😊
Hellooooo Mustang Cindy ! I would like to visit you !🤤😇🍑😜😘🥰🤯🤪 Comment by Erick Guzman Garcia
This was AWESOME Adam...,every time this place is on camera my eyes always go straight to it and I always have wondered about it.
Once again thanks Adam love the video and as always can't wait to see what's next!!! You're absolutely awesome and be safe on your travels.
That place looks AMAZING!!! It's on my list of places to visit. Great video...thanks for sharing!!!!
Went to this place three or four years ago really interesting place. Will go back when i have the chance.
I last came here in October 2010! It is a very awesome place! I'm inspired to create my own weekly show because I want to be remembered as one of the greatest people that enjoyed location discoveries!
We are so blessed to have a Griffith park observatory here in LA. Thank you for this detailed tour inside the observatory since I have not been in there since they remodeled the observatory and we took the tour to get acquainted with the new look. I remember taking school outings to the observatory and one of the stops was going into the planetarium as a child. Thanks for the memories. ❤️🙏🏻
As a "join me, shall you" shirt owner and aficionado, it goes without saying... I'm glad it's back! Have a great day Adam!
Thanks for sporting the shirt !
Morning Adam, another of my favorite places when I was very young all the way up to when I saw Dark Side of the Moon show lying on the floor a very long time ago. Thanks have a great day!

I’ve been subscribed for a few weeks now and I never fail to come into UA-cam and binge your videos. I love them!
thanks for taking us with you
Just came from the Solo premier livestream... just gotta say, you make my day every time you upload. So thank you so much for being so freakin awesome.
Yet another place I wish I could visit. Thanks for showing it in such great detail this time! And thanks for "falling in love with the wall!" I'm still giggling. Goo!
Love your Hollywood related topics. Looking forward to more of your exploring. Great work.
Thank you so much
Always love the famous scene in Rebel Without a Cause where Jimmy Dean knife fights Buzz. Great location at Griffith. Also Natalie Wood sitting on Jimmy’s 49 Mercury. Classic.
Adam. As a full-time working mom who only travels in a small triangle of work, home & kids school, your videos are a much-needed taste of adventure. And for that...I thank you. Keep up the good work, buddy.
Thanks for the preview. I was there years ago and was fascinated.
Thank you Adam! I’m a big James Dean fan, and have always wanted to visit here. Have a beautiful day.
I was just telling my son the other day how I used to go there a lot and I loved watching the "Moon Rocks" laser show at night. Now he can see some of what I was talking about since we don't live in L.A. anymore. Thanks.
I have been there twice in my life but couldn't appreciate it because I was too young when I first went. Thank you for sharing this. I definitely have a better appreciation of the observatory and can't wait to visit again now that it's finally reopened to the public (Fri-Sun).
Fun video!
I'm an employee of the Griffith Observatory, have been since just after the renovation and expansion. As for the Foucault Pendulum, it appears to be a time measuring device, however French physicist, Léon Foucault, conceived it as an experiment to demonstrate the Earth's rotation.
Been enjoying your vlogs, lots of fun and great locations! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Adsm. Well done. Rock on
Fantastic tour, thanks so much for sharing!!
Adam you've been really amazing with these locations lately.. I mean all your videos have been great but these last two have been really really great.. Thanks, I've been dying to know more about Griffith.
Thanks so much
Thanks so much Adam. We have wanted to add this, the tar pits, hiking the Hollywood sign and a few other LA places to our next trip but weren’t too sure if they were worth it. You have confirmed they are! Keep up the amazing work❤️
Thanks Adam! Informative and interesting video
Adam my family and I love watching you live and we love watching all the vlogs. When you first decided to stop your daily vlogs I was just in admitted into MD Anderson with cancer. I was shocked and saddened, but later after I got out you started live and met my daughter in Katy. We as a family love watching you and enjoy all the work you put into your Vlogs. Thank you.
I highly recommend going back up there for the view just after a good rain! When the air is clear you can see all the way to the ocean!
An interesting vlog Adam, you made a great presentation about space.
Extremely cool stuff!!! Thanks for the trip Adam
Awesome as usual! I love all the video that you post!
Sent over from live stream. 😎. Enjoyed watching the premiere tonight and I commented earlier on the Griffith Observatory. Have a great night 😊. #AdamtheWooLiveStream ❤️
A wonderful place, I used to come here many times when I was younger. Good memories and Good Times and of course this is a family place to visit and learn a few thing about our Earth.
Stopping over from your live stream at the Solo movie. Love that you and Josh are hanging out.
Awesome video tour! Thank you so much!
The Observatory is so cool! Loving these What's Inside videos!
Great video Adam ! I love you content so much keep it up
I remember when I was a youngster riding my horse up here...I don't know if you can do that anymore, but it was a wonderful time in my life!!!
So very interesting, loved this!, It sure is better to watch than what I saw on skid row! Still in shock over that!
The observatory was still closed when we went in October '21 due to COVID so I really enjoyed this video. We rode rental bikes from our hotel in Korea town up to the park, locked them up then hiked up. The views alone are breath taking!
Really ❤your solo live stream! You had the stars of the movie in front of the falcon getting their picture taken
This was awesome!
Thanks, Adam!!
In 2015 me, my brother, and my cousin went to West Hollywood to stay with my aunt for the summer. One day we drove to this park (I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me), and nearby was this walking trail that led into a hike over the mountains. It was easily 90 degrees, but my aunt decided to drop us off at the beginning of the trail and meet us at the Observatory. After about an hour and a half of hiking, we finally started to come up on the Observatory, and I’ll never forget the image of seeing it slowly creep up over the mountain as we got closer. One of the most rewarding and memorable things I’ve ever done in my life
I got to drive by it, we drove all the way up the mountain, there wasn’t a parking spot in sight, I was amazed at the amount of people there. Someday I’ll get back, but for now...this will have to do. Thanks Adam!!
Awesome video!! I’ve always wanted to visit the Griffith Observatory. Hopefully one day I can see it in person
I felt sorry for poor ‘lil Pluto 😥
Thanks s lot Adam! This was really interesting 🌎🌞⭐️!!
Adam, great video. Keep up the educational aspect. I liked learning about what AM and PM meant.
Added to my list of places to visit for sure, thanks Adam!
Came straight over from the Star Wars live stream! Lovin what you do👍👍 keep it up dude!! Sending best wishes from Ireland! 🇮🇪
@12:30 " bubbling and bursting " that sounds like my stomach right about now...Lol😆....have a great day☺
"Springfield swings like a pendulum do!" The Observatory's such a cool spot - checking out the Planetarium's worth the time/$. While watching this, an old song kept creepin' in as a mental soundtrack, finally had to do a search to recall who the artists were. It turned out to be Heart's "Soul of the Sea." D'oh! We're coming down late this eve, to play tourists 'round our old stompin' grounds. After all these yrs, I STILL miss L.A....
I use to go there all the time in the 1950’s with my grandma. I stayed with her every summer in Hollywood on Russell Ave. it seemed a lot like going to the Castle of Oz and Frankenstein’s Laboratory. A lot of Arts and Craft style decor. Remember the big pendulum knocking over checkers. Shows earth rotation. The show was old school but great for 1950’s. Great memories.
Man you do a wonderful job .. i love to see the detail you telling everything inside the Observatory hope one day i will go there thumps up
This place is definitely in my bucket list!Wow!
Thank you Adam! I've never been inside..very interesting..👍💕😆
Been watching for 3 years. Awesome.

Very interesting, I have never been there despite being in California most of my life! Will make a trip there some time hopefully!
thank you adamthrwoo thats an awesome vlog
Wow that’s a spectacular view of the Hollywood sign 👍🏻😺
Just came from the livestream. Heya Adam. It was cool to see all the stuff they were setting up on Twitter.
Thanks! I have been wondering about this place for awhile
Excellent presentation Adam! Loved it!
an excellent video tour, my last visit was in the late 80s i will be taking my grand daughters there soon
I really enjoyed this.
Been wanting to go for a long time.
Love the education! And the Simon and Garfunkel reference!
Keep up the great work Adam..love all your vids...much love from Indiana
This is somewhere I would really like to go thanks for showing us another great video
Thank you for posting this. Last time I was in LA we caught the sunset here and it was stunning. Didn't get a chance to go inside so this video was informative.
Adam, I’ve been watching your videos for almost two years. I love your videos and I think they truly inspiring. It’s because of you, I’ve purchased my own drone and cameras. Haven’t gone out on my own adventures yet. Need some money first lol. But I hope mine can be as cool as yours someday.
Both of my kids are studying the solar system in school right now - they love Adam the Woo and they’re really gonna love this video 🌞🌚🌎 Can’t wait to show it to them
Rebel without a Cause filming location...
My favorite actor, Dennis Hopper, was in "Rebel Without A Cause"
...which as mentioned, and that many know, was filmed there....
He would always manage to find a rebellious cause in real life though.
So much history there at the observatory,...THANKS as always ATW!!
That old school clock is pretty impressive. Enjoyed this vlog. Thank you.
Knowledge is power. I enjoyed this.
Thank you for this! Ive only seen the Focault Pendulum but never anything else inside.
This place looks amazing. I'm narrowing down places to visit in the USA (from the uk). And LA is moving to the top. Your vids are really helping, Thanks Adam!
I have loved Griffith observatory since I first went at 2.
In 1958?
I have always loved this place. Hope to visit LA again someday.
Great video man. Keep up the great work man!!
Great vid! Nice observations.
Wow how cool is that, another very interesting and informative video thanks 👏👏👏😎.
