@Harley Bradford Just because we’re in the military doesn’t mean we’re above the law. If I got drunk, went driving, and got pulled over, I can get charged with DUI. I’d be arrested and likely heavily punished or kicked out of the military. There are some instances, like plates, where the military is exempt but other than that we still have to follow the law.
That made me think too, I was like “but the roads are for the military, roads are a privilege not a right for civs thus the need 4 licenses for vehicles and drivers, and leaving military void for such things as they are designated by the government.”

California Vehicle Code 21801: (a) a driver who is intending to either turn left or make a legal u-turn must yield to all traffic traveling in the opposite direction and not initiate or continue the turn until such traffic is a safe enough distance away to negotiate the turn; in the alternative, subsection (b) states that if a driver making a left or u-turn has properly yielded, turned on their signal and started to turn, the approaching traffic must yield the right of way to the turning vehicle. Sorry Bugs but Polecat had right of way. If Polecat had not slowed to turn he would have collided making the left turner at fault.
Yeah that's standard across the US and in pretty much any right side driving countries. This isn't just California - it's how traffic law works everywhere. And Buggs said he gets pissed that NOBODY lets him make his left turn in front of them when they are turning right (or going straight I imagine)! Which means for YEARS Buggs has sat there at a light, waiting to turn left, and cussing out all that traffic that's coming from the opposite direction and making their right turns! lmao
Chris K, links to any of these rules in the states you are referring to? Because I don not believe that is is the true traffic laws anywhere, not California, not Georgia, not in any state. As you state, it makes NO SENSE. You cannot expect oncoming traffic or right turning traffic to yield to a left turning vehicle that is crossing traffic. Earlier I linked to an article in the LA Times which spelled out that the left turning vehicle ALWAYS yields to the other traffic in California, debunking the thought that in California left turning vehicles have the right away. If you are stating that in Georgia this is the case, can you link to where it states this specifically?
Chris K it's no big deal. Like you said, it makes zero sense, and it is definitely not the law in California. I debunked that one in another post.. I have driven through Georgia a few times; however, not for very long periods of time. When we took the kids to Disney in '13 though we drove from Ohio to Orlando and stayed overnight just south of Atlanta. I do not remember any weird left turn signs then, but we were only there overnight. My other trips, aside from getting fuel or food, was mostly spent on the interstate in Georgia. I just don't see how it would be law, anywhere in a right side driving country, that a left turning vehicle would have the right of way i any situation, aside from when they have a green turn arrow. Full green lights would always give way to oncoming and right turning traffic, with left turn traffic only being able to turn when traffic was clear for them to do so.
Agreed. Military's access to cool shit is awesome and the base is a perfect staging ground. The only difference is that you need to have a base full of other military member and start shit with cops, then run back to base and try to blend in. Repeat until they get really mad. The police helicopter cant fly over the base so they couldn't finish a chase.
In the California Driver Handbook, under Right-of-Way Rules, in the Intersections section, it reads: "When you turn left, give right-of-way to all vehicles approaching that are close enough to be dangerous." Meaning oncoming vehicles turning right have the right-of-way.
Shawn Warehime same here in Arizona. I'm a motorcycle rider. I had to read two books to get my license. And both books it says turning left traffic must yield to traffic on coming if they have the right away. Turn when it is safe to do so. Also, you must turn into the lane closest to you. Either #1 lane if making a right and either the #2 or #3 depending on lanes making a left.
I know this was 5 years ago but jeez, I can’t believe Buggs thought that turning left gives you right of way! Those turning right always have right of way when they’re green. It’s the whole reason you see protected left turn arrows haha
lmao i know especially when he says it pissed him off when he's trying to turn left and people are turning right in front of him. He's only right if he has a green arrow and the other drivers are turning right on red. but that's NOT what buggs was talking about. He legit thought that if you both have a green light, right turn yields to left turn! thats like driving 101 how do you not know that left turn Always yields in that situation lol

Hey Buggs, you know the movie Speed right? Well you and Polecat should make a episode based off speed. That would be a funny and good episode to watch. Especially knowing how DOJ acts with situations 😂
I actually got arrested for public intoxication in my buddies house 3 minutes after the Damascus VA town cops gave my buddy a DUI for working on his truck in the driveway... At no point did that truck start or run.. When they put him in cuffs the rest of us got pissed... We caught it in court brought all 7 people that were there and the neighbor but every cop lied on the stand... Cost us over 15000$ in fines and legal fees.... All 3 dashcams were "messing up and deemed unreliable"
That sounds 100% accurate to Damascus. I've been ticketed for failure to yield while sitting in a parking spot at food city because a guy backed into me. Easiest ticket to get out on in my life.
Buggs, people turning right ALWAYS have the right of way. The only time you don't have a right of way is if you have a stop sign, a red light, or a yield sign. In no state does someone turning left have right of way over someone turning right if the person turning right has a green light.
BlakeBigfoot the easiest way to remember that rule is by saying right away. It’s literally IN the name 😂😂 I was so confused when buggs said the left turn goes first

The person making the left has to yield since they have to cross traffic
The cop was wrong about the plate thing. While some military vehicles will be given a plate from the specific branch of service, most will only affix the registration directly to the vehicle's body. The same practice has been copied and deployed by the USPS. queue up the NBC "More you know" theme. :)
It's that way everywhere. Buggs is mistaken in his view of this. He either mixed it up in his head, or he has had it backwards ever since he started driving a car.

you guys should do a MP episode on the DOJ server, see how local, county, and state police handle having Military police pulling people over near Zancudo. I know there's a couple AF Security Forces vehicle mods out there, has to be at least a couple military law enforcement vehicle mods floating around.
Fun fact, you’re wrong. They can only ask for credentials/ personal information if you break the law, you are detained, or if you’re under investigation like a traffic stop for example. It’s a federal law. If an officer asks for it, you give it to them if you’re at the wrong. If they are talking to you or questioning you for no reason, you do NOT in any world have to give them information.
@@LS3_Jadenno, you just proved me actually, you break the law, get detained, it's not a question anymore its a demand. This comment is from 5 years ago too? I have no idea what this video is even about anymore
@@blacktears6140Your comment is still out of place and idiotic… you stated you can only hand them information if you are demanded. If you break the law, you are IMMEDIATELY required by federal law to possess a valid license, POI, and IVR. It doesn’t not matter if you are asked by an officer or not. That’s how it works. Simple as that.
@@blacktears6140 Lol. Be over dramatic over a comment. I don’t care. I wasn’t insulting you. I drive so I know this and I’m assuming you don’t drive which would make sense.
Buggs, if both side have a green (not green arrow) then the one turning right will have the right of way. Because in the case of there being a two lane forward traffic, or even those who turn without a signal the one turning left would have to yield so they do not pull out in front of oncoming traffic. Same thing with a one lane forward traffic, the left would yield to those going straight as well as those turning right to prevent any collisions. If you have the green arrow then go on ahead oncoming lanes will yield to you until they get their green. (After all that's why the left turn lane has the green arrow, as well as a regular green light) Not trying to sound mean, looking forward to the next DOJ episode :)
Alright, so when he said that when you are turning left that you have the right away, he meant when you are ALREADY TURNING. If you are already turning left and approaching where your are turning to, those turning right have to yield to you, rather than forcing themselves in, and crowding out the car turning left. He was basically just describing the situation at the time. He was 100% accurate. Because otherwise, like seen in the situation that sparked the initial discussion, the right turners not yielding- albeit in a very specific circumstance like the one seen here- could cause an accident.
When you got out your army car when polecat was on a stop I thought someone was going to get there @$$ beaten. I was getting extied AF. And look at you guys knowing your ranks. That is great 10/10
It's about as un-legit (Illegit?) as it comes. The RP'ers posing as cops do the worse job ever on every one of these videos. I've made it through all of Polecat and Buggs's DOJ videos now and every time its the same thing. Pulled over for looking left when they should have looked right. Pulled over for turning left in a left turn lane. Pulled over for doing the speed limit. These cops ruin most videos. The only time they add anything is when Polecat or Buggs has had enough of the bullshit themselves and lay into/make fun of the RP cops themselves.

Finally some more Military stuff I loved it you guy's should get involved with the ones who did the gas drop off and do like a Military convoy to mess with the police though you guy's should come up with more verifiable credentials still keep up the amazing work I love these DOJ Episodes though I do miss the SAPDFR with Code Zero hope those come back thanks for making my day Buggs
BRING BACK THE CODE ZERO PATROLS! I love these DOJ episodes but we miss the old CZ sapdfr
Aaron S na I like the new crown Victorias
No, you miss the old CZ sapdfr. Don't speak on my behalf, so rude.
11:57: he's going for public intoxication
Buggs: DAFUQ?! DAFUQ?!
XD can't stop laughing to that part
I mean when it comes to the pull over Pole should have been like " I am Private (name) " not Sergeant. Then bugs should have came in claiming that he is his private and he's bigger than the others. LOL
Literally just finished watching your recent DOJ video!
We use unmarked cars with lights and sirens also !! I mean the military ofcourse
I always love your vids dude thanks for making my day
you guys should do a MP episode on the DOJ server, see how local, county, and state police handle having Military police pulling people over near Zancudo. I know there's a couple AF Security Forces vehicle mods out there, has to be at least a couple military law enforcement vehicle mods floating around.
STARKDRONE GAMING wroooooong! He said near Fort Zancudo. And MP's SecFo's etc... have jurisdiction usually up to a mile away from base
I just discovered your channel and realized I won't be bored on UA-cam for a long ass time. I really like you and polecats content. So thank my guy.
Same
Fun fact, when a police officer asks you for anything you can refuse unless they command you to
Fun fact, you’re wrong.
@@LS3_Jaden alright hurl an insult and cause a fuss over a five year old comment, cool
@@blacktears6140 Lol. Be over dramatic over a comment. I don’t care. I wasn’t insulting you. I was insulting your comment and my purpose was to correct you so that you know rather than sharing bias information. “Causing a fuss” isn’t what I’m doing. I think you need to study and practice vocabulary. Sorry if I made you upset but, it is what it is. I’m just correcting you because it’s a common mistake for people not to know basic motor vehicle laws and regulations within law enforcement. I drive so I know this and I’m assuming you don’t drive which would make sense.
That military Convoy at the end was awesome.
love your videos
3:30 What law in California makes you yield to incoming traffic turning into your lane?
Well now we know he Reads the comments
StivenFilmsEverything :D
StivenFilmsEverything I hope it wasn't a fluke
Nice Video Bro And I Press The Like Button And I Just Finish Watching PoleCat324 DOJ Too

Cane
A play
"Da Fuck!!" i died laughing, behind the mic, so hard!
What do ya know, more "im gonna arrest you cuz I want to" welp we cant get you a taxi but even though you didnt commit a crime im gonna arrest you
Military vehicles ARE required to have license plates. They are government plates, not state plates.
Uh no dude the people making a right have the right away unless you have a green arrow.
Bryson Blandford Yup
If you are turning left you never have right away.... you have to yield...
Interaction between civs is awesome.
Now let’s go back to base!?😂🙅🏻♂️🚀😂😂😂😂😂
liked im form Sweden
Erma Gurd ok bro
Benjamin Martinsson im Also from Sweden (Gamla Stan)
Alexsir75 GT ok bro är från Halmstad
Same i'm also from Sweden broder
Feexy jag med bröder
That is great 10/10
I like how they are in the Military and they don't cooperate with police. You're Fired LOL
I've never seen a Staff Sergeant General before
Ray Ellis Commandant of the Staff Sergeants lol
Never heard of non-commissioned command chief warrant private first class of the Air Force?
Pedro Rivera Petty Officer Drill Sergeant Major General Private Second Class
lol
It exists.
I started crying when you went to the 24/7 and started making jokes about😂😂
The squeaker ruins it every time
that moment u get bored of gta and turn off the computer to go onto youtube on your laptop to end up watching your fav youtuber play gta haha
These officers think there higher power then military.
MK 24 When you're off duty, you're just another civvy mate. On duty doesn't exempt you either.
military = federal federal>local cops = local
When your not on duty or on base you are just another civilian police are higher than military in this case
a fallen cop also gets more attention then a fallen soldier.
@@Athens_Prime uhh
Can you please do more military videos? Also congrats on 1.1M!!!
Ok, can we be done with the comments? They did it, happy?
Teren Essex no the comments won't stop
Honestly in the game and considering how ridiculous cops are in these videos I’d do these DUI situations and always put it just under the limit. Lmao
Shit is so bull all they do is look on there map look for you guys then wait till u do something to pull you oher
I love that your videos are so long!
Military vehicles do not need license plates to ride american roads, DOJ is stupid
Starkka15 your stupid
its a game no one cares
Rrecker you're*
Moonman Black Killer what I'm what
Moonman Black Killer nvm I just got that your correcting me
What are you talking about bugs? Right turn and straight have right of way....
Cringy Kid Is Back At It Again

i'd say you're the cringey one dude
Just leave you cant call adults kids and your the one with a cringy picture and name
Thanks for the warning.
LOVE THESE VIDEOS! I can not get enough! Good job Buggs!
Do some blue on blue
to all the people complaining congratulations you're doing exactly what rockstar wanted you to do the messed up the uniforms and slang to piss people off.. because well its rockstar lol
Buggs was in a uniform with a Staff Sergeant Rank, and was called a colonel, I would've arrested you guys for stolen valor lol
Had stars on his shoulders making him into a General as well...
You know this is a game right?
Left turn yields the right away in the state of California!!! Bugs and Polecat, you guys are like 15 miles from me!!! Trying to get the game to work on my old computer.
MAKE ANE EPISODE WITH "DIPLOMATIC " PLATES AND ACT LIKE D!(%$
3:45 A person turning right on green definitely has the right of way to someone turning left. The person turning left has to yield to oncoming traffic to turn, while the person turing right does not.
34FenwayPark Yup. The person turning right has the right of way. The only exception is a turn arrow.
Those cops would be fired immediately! All I see in these is bullshit police work. Totally not legit.
who said it had to be fully legit
dude, I love this type of videos they make
Do more episodes with the military it was awesome
Why does Buggs character look like Barble from the Drill Sargent RP's?
He said. "I don't have my phone, I forgot to put on a shirt"
So glad I found these.
I find it to be hilarious what kind of set up do y'all use
military convoy would be so awesome. and at first I thought it was AI lmao
damnnnnn love da last bitt !! where a spontaneous convoys going down da street and he stopped him !! 👌👌👌
Left turn ALWAYS YIELDS.
No wonder you think everyone ELSE sucks. It's like the time my grandma said that "everyone is driving at me."
A shirtless man with digital camo pants enters the taxi and screams TAKE ME TO ZANCUDO
I'm new to this channel and really enjoying it, I'm guessing it's PC right?
Stephen Bewick it's called fivem
