Here's how I rationalized Daredevil being a better fighter than Iron Fist: Danny learned to fight from the monks of K'un-Lun, who were very traditional and isolated from the rest of the world. While this way of fighting is effective, it limits Danny on the kinds of moves he can use. Matt on the other hand was taught by Stick, and combined his fighting style with boxing. This unique combination of fighting styles makes Matt unpredictable and harder to read. That being said now that Danny is outside of K'un-Lun, he has the potential to further his fighting prowess (similar to how Captain America became a better fighter after Avengers).
Possibly, also Daredevil has heightened senses that allow him to hear his opponents heartbeat, footsteps, breathing patterns, gutteral noises you make right before you attack, etc, all of which combined allows you to sense when an opponents is about to make a move and makes it easier to counter. Kinda hard to sneak up and surprise a guy like that. Iron Fist is a kid that went through a traumatic accident and coped by forcing a foreign ideology into his head in an isolated setting. Magic fist aside, he still has human senses which means Daredevil would outclass him.
Also with Defenders, Matt fell into the Substance while fighting Elektra at the end and there is a very long lingering shot on him being covered in it. Since he was alive when he got covered and wasn't fully submerged, he might not be immortal but was revived after the collapse

Not always. Take Force Awakens for example, that movie has obvious flaws all over it, even if it is fun at the end of the day. Considering how that channel nitpick everything, the fact that Force Awakens ended almost unscathed was such a bullshit. I never watched anything from cinemasins ever again, they are just inconsistent as hell and the jokes became repetitive. Recently I was curious to see cinemasins featuring Guardians of the Galaxy 2. This movie has a tremendous excess of childish jokes, it's basically a retarded cartoon that many people like it for whatever reason. I am curious, but I will not waste my time again.
The best parts of Defenders was the interaction between the characters and how they play off each other. The plot and the villains were very disappointing. The Hand leaders were just not interesting or effective villains. The reveal of their plan was very underwhelming. In fact, they seem to have gotten less powerful and competent since season 1 of Daredevil.

Mr sunday, the implication is that Electra got matt out and left him in the hospice his mum is at and Gao mentions how the dragons are free roaming in her homeland so the dragon bones would be unlimited when she got back to kun lun as long as dragons are still fucking and such. Nobu to show respect and Fisk to threaten before being KO'ed. But in The Defenders it's sentences that don't lead anywhere like "You're going to lose" "I'm going to win" "you don't understand" "I understand" etc. etc. That's why it felt more like a CW show. I didn't watch Iron Fist so I had no idea who Wing's mentor was, and when Alexandria mentions the fifth leader, I was expecting a super badass Nobu-esq ninja that even she was intimidated by. How good was it when he beat those two guys with shotguns as Matt Murdock? Pretty cool. Actually, whats up with his mask? He clearly has some kind of black balaclava on under the red mask, but when he takes off the red part, there's no balaclava underneath. Those were my criticisms of the season but ultimately I enjoyed it because of the goodwill they've earned in DD and JJ and it was still a lot of fun! I didn't hate it, I just didn't love it. Also, they never said the city is supported by the dragon bones. They said the process of acquiring the "substance" would destroy the city. Presumably that's more than just removing the bones. Also the Earthquake came from the excavation required to access the door, and perhaps trying to open that door via explosion, which is why they learned they needed the Iron Fist.
There's a scene Danny Rand walks into an alley and he puts on a hoodie and that's clearly just so the stunt double does the fight scene, just after that he removes the hoodie.
SPOILERS FOR THE DEFENDERS I think when it comes to the fight between Iron Fist and Daredevil, while I agree they should build up Danny as a better martial artist, you can justify it by looking at this way: Danny has more training then Matt, however Matt has more experience being in real fights where it's life or death. We see Matt develop as a fighter between season one and two of Daredevil. He's more weathered, he makes less mistakes. In episode 4 of The Defenders Netflix gets a Chinese translation from Iron Fist wrong. After Jessica asks him "You Speak Chinese?" the subtitles mistranslate his mandarin as "You can trust us." but he actually says "Of course." He's even looking and speaking to Jessica when he says it.
The hand seems very disjointed, the "fingers" were powerful heads of their own organization, but when they came together, it seemed like they weakened each other with their strife
not sure if you read this or not, but I just feel like I should point out that Stick never knew what the Hand wanted with the Iron fist, his only clue was that he is the "key" to unlock something... so he did not explain anything because he did not know anything
It just seemed for The Hand being an international group there wasn't many henchmen. If they were getting to a critical stage of extracting all the bones wouldn't they have more guys. Also I thought like that lock that Iron Fist opens (because he's a big dummy) was like taking them somewhere else? Like a gateway? Like they weren't in New York anymore and that was why that shot shows the bones they are in and comes up above them to see the skull and it doesn't look to be underground anymore

On dragon bones: how are they holding up the city? Surely the room that iron fist opens completely surrounds them... otherwise why don't they just dig down on the other side of the wall? Surely it's the room holding up the city and the contents has no baring on its structural integrity
I thought the spoiler thing beneath the city was just the be all end all goal of one of the hands' fingers, one of them pretty clearly states that it's just part of the road towards their actual goal... this is hard to explain without spoiling stuff jeez.
Honestly Cinemasins can rubbish a film pretty good but at the end of the day they mean it in good fun. They've torn apart some of my favourite films but it doesn't alter my view on them or lessen my enjoyment.

The Defenders MCU just had a whole huge criminal organization that specialized in bringing people back from the dead, and they did get away with some of the 'substance.' It could be that Gao or whoever was left might just resurrect Kilgrave just to fuck with Jessica Jones and the other heroes.
I thought for sure that they were going to say that there was a door to kunlun under New York City and it wasn't just about the dragon bones. That would have made more sense especially given the fact that all the members of the hand kept saying is that they want to go back home so I didn't think at all that it was just about dragon bones I thought there was a door to kunlun under New York!?
I liked it a lot. Only problems I had was that the hand except for Gao didn't really feel ancient. Also I felt like the show focused on the wrong side characters, in particular Colleen Wing was just annoying and whinny for the most part and was just there to get in the way, and while I don't mind Claire as a character but she has been pushed a bit too heavily and I could use a break from her in the next few series. Can't wait for Daredevil season 3 and Jessica Jones season 2. I really want to see what those character have been up to.
CinemaSins is not meant to be taken that seriously, even movies like Mad Max Fury Road (which the CinemaSins guys love) got an 18 minutes video! Its not actually a mean-spirited thing

You seem to have missed the point of the Hand too. NO, they are not manipulating politicians, or in ultimate control. All they do is whatever is necessary to gain access to the dragon (blood?). In order to do that they are skilled in a variety of ways like running corporations, controlling underworld crime, etc, so that they can buy property, build buildings, run drugs to finance their goals, train ninja assassins etc, in order to manipulate their way to be able to access this dragon (blood?). They do not care about political power or running anything else. That's all they do.

In episode 4 of The Defenders Netflix gets a Chinese translation from Iron Fist wrong. After Jessica asks him "You Speak Chinese?" the subtitles mistranslate his mandarin as "You can trust us." but he actually says "Of course." He's even looking and speaking to Jessica when he says it.
The hand seems very disjointed, the "fingers" were powerful heads of their own organization, but when they came together, it seemed like they weakened each other with their strife
not sure if you read this or not, but I just feel like I should point out that Stick never knew what the Hand wanted with the Iron fist, his only clue was that he is the "key" to unlock something... so he did not explain anything because he did not know anything
It just seemed for The Hand being an international group there wasn't many henchmen. If they were getting to a critical stage of extracting all the bones wouldn't they have more guys.
Also I thought like that lock that Iron Fist opens (because he's a big dummy) was like taking them somewhere else? Like a gateway? Like they weren't in New York anymore and that was why that shot shows the bones they are in and comes up above them to see the skull and it doesn't look to be underground anymore

On dragon bones: how are they holding up the city? Surely the room that iron fist opens completely surrounds them... otherwise why don't they just dig down on the other side of the wall? Surely it's the room holding up the city and the contents has no baring on its structural integrity
I thought the spoiler thing beneath the city was just the be all end all goal of one of the hands' fingers, one of them pretty clearly states that it's just part of the road towards their actual goal... this is hard to explain without spoiling stuff jeez.

Honestly Cinemasins can rubbish a film pretty good but at the end of the day they mean it in good fun. They've torn apart some of my favourite films but it doesn't alter my view on them or lessen my enjoyment.

I enjoyed the defenders my main problem is that Luke cage is about as strong as hawkeyes wife and iron firsts iron fist is about as hard as kingpins fingernail. They nerfed all the characters wayyy too much

The Defenders MCU just had a whole huge criminal organization that specialized in bringing people back from the dead, and they did get away with some of the 'substance.' It could be that Gao or whoever was left might just resurrect Kilgrave just to fuck with Jessica Jones and the other heroes.
I thought for sure that they were going to say that there was a door to kunlun under New York City and it wasn't just about the dragon bones. That would have made more sense especially given the fact that all the members of the hand kept saying is that they want to go back home so I didn't think at all that it was just about dragon bones I thought there was a door to kunlun under New York!?

I liked it a lot. Only problems I had was that the hand except for Gao didn't really feel ancient. Also I felt like the show focused on the wrong side characters, in particular Colleen Wing was just annoying and whinny for the most part and was just there to get in the way, and while I don't mind Claire as a character but she has been pushed a bit too heavily and I could use a break from her in the next few series. Can't wait for Daredevil season 3 and Jessica Jones season 2. I really want to see what those character have been up to.

CinemaSins is not meant to be taken that seriously, even movies like Mad Max Fury Road (which the CinemaSins guys love) got an 18 minutes video! Its not actually a mean-spirited thing
Yeah, but that's easy to see for the guys who make Cinema Sins and their fans. It's not that easy for people who like, or even make, the movie. For the latter, it just sounds like an asshole made an 18 minute, edited, apathetic, and jaded tirade about the filmmaker's work. It kinda stops being a review and critique when the critic rambles just to shit on things they didn't make and have nothing constructive to say.

The Defenders was awful. I really wanted to like it, but the dialogue, fight choreography, plot, and cinematography we're all just atrocious. I liked maybe 20 minutes of the entire 8 episode season. It was a supreme disappointment.

You seem to have missed the point of the Hand too. NO, they are not manipulating politicians, or in ultimate control. All they do is whatever is necessary to gain access to the dragon (blood?). In order to do that they are skilled in a variety of ways like running corporations, controlling underworld crime, etc, so that they can buy property, build buildings, run drugs to finance their goals, train ninja assassins etc, in order to manipulate their way to be able to access this dragon (blood?). They do not care about political power or running anything else. That's all they do.
