Take a shot of liquor after every ice pun and you'll be on your second bottle within half an hour of watching. I think the funniest part of the clip that Mark played is just before he asks Freeze for help, Bats shows him THE ACTUAL SCENE FROM THE FILM - not some CCTV footage - of Ivy attempting to kill his wife. He literally makes him watch a scene from Batman & Robin as he writhes on the floor. Brilliant.
When the best performances in your movie is coming from the Butler, maybe there’s something wrong. BTW, shout out to Michael Gough as Alfred in this, legitimately the only thing I really like about it.
Adam West doesnt get derided because it was a totally different era and it worked as a comedy. Batman and Robin got derided because it came during a time after you had the dark Tim Burton films, and a decent Batman Forever film (not to mention Batman was seen as a dark character by then in the comics too), and they turned the franchise back into a comedy.
Fascinating bad. However I must admit, Uma is enjoyable and her and John Glover at the lab, great stuff. I like the bit with the Cure given to Batman at the end.
Ice to see you Batman to see you ice! Trivia note; Apparently, according to imdb, George Clooney has been known to refund people for their ticket admission price 😂
People try & defend Batman & Robin as a comedy, it’s not a comedy, it’s just an interminable boring overlong mess that has nothing to say & is so up it’s own arse.
What a funny film. Production value is high, photography great, music very good... It's just camp and ridiculous and not tasteful. But it is very funny to watch
Yeah, why is he MISTER Freeze when he’s a Doctor? Is he a surgeon? "....and so they they discovered the basic plot of the Female pornographic literary-product, and they identified -- ....so basically, what happened is, that : "An Innocent, well-meaning and attractive young woman encounters A Male, who's a bit of A Monster --" And The Monster, there's *five types* of classic male monster, for all you males who want to know, this, is what you can become : Vampire -- that's a good one, eh? Werewolf --Billionaire, Pirate and *Surgeon* -- "
I loved it as an 11 year old when it first came out and I still love it now. Crack open a a few beers and it’s brilliant. If anything the insane practical sets are something to admire and not something we see now.
Yeah I saw it at 15 and remembered enjoying it, then I watched it again and it was just as much fun. It's a visual treat and it's good that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's only pretentious people who don't like it.
"I cannot sanction your buffoonery."
Tommy Lee Jones's most famous line and it wasn't in one of his movies.
Discovered a lot about myself as a boy watching Uma Thurman in this.
😂
Didn't we all 😂
"It's been ice snowing you"
What killed the dinosaurs? The Ice Age.

Uma Thurman is easily the only reason to watch this movie.
In her best Mae West: "I'll bring everything ya see here. Plus... everything ya don't!"
“Moreso than the Adam West movie.” Okay, maybe it’s because I’m young, but who doesn’t like Adam West?
'More so'!
Kick me. All best.
A real tear jerking moment, thanks Clooney and Schwarzenegger!
I wonder if Woody Allen was thinking about Casino Royale when he told Schumacher that Batman & Robin wasn't the worst movie ever made ...

Personally, that Smashing Pumpkins song that plays during the end credits was the one thing I enjoyed about it.

Well people should have lightened up.

This and the coffee adverts are his best work!
Schubert's Winteriser - get it now.
"They gave him a Bat Credit Card?"
I saw this at the cinema and found it excruciating. I was praying for it to end.
Sean Corrigan, Wanna be friends?
A cool throwback
I remember borrowing the vhs from my cousin as a child.
Even as a child, i knew this was crap.
"Ice to see you"

That wasnt very "ice" of you

Ummm it wasn’t meant to be a comedy though
While not an outright comedy it was definitely made to be campy and most importantly to sell toys
‘Anniversary releases’? What anniversary? The 27th anniversary?
Arnold/Uma picture.
What a great snow
I saw a recent kermode and mayo online episode. Is simon ok.
Batman and robin worked as a farce
Harry knowles was the online equivalent of a plague or cancer. Precursor of 4 chan.
It worked as an embarrassment to cinema!!
Universally one of the worst alongside The Room Battlefield Earth Gigli Son of The Mask...
Yeah, why is he MISTER Freeze when he’s a Doctor? Is he a surgeon?

I agree, Batman and Robin is still funny to watch, where as Batman v. Superman is just awful.
Yeah I agree
Completely true.
"People hate what they don't understand"

Definitely one of the worst movies ever made, and I've seen The Room and Samurai Cop 💩💩💩
Iconic bad
I love it.
Oh hi Mark.

Batman and Robin is fun, unlike the over long snooze fest that is The Batman.
