Until court says that he is guilty, we cannot say that he is guilty. Kind of common sense. In social media we can write all kind of things, this does not make it true.
Agreed, as far as I am concerned innocent until proven guilty. However, Isaac has to make the move regardless of whether he is innocent or guilty because he can't take the chance that Broken Token won't deliver on the insert. This is just another issue on top of BT issues due to wood pricing and it's unfortunate but an allegation like this is damaging regardless of whether it is true or not.
I do not see why the allegations as they stand would make Broken Token unable to deliver. On the part of Cephalofair, this is breach of contract pure and simple based on ideology. Broken Token is just not a CEO. It is a team of good people who work hard to deliver as good products as they can. Whatever the CEO did or did not do, it is unfair to penalize the people working at Broken Token. Sad to see wokeness and bigotry now entering tabletop gaming.
The flippable item could be balanced by having a benefit on one side and then a negative on the flip. So you get something good and if you want it again you have to endure something bad.
Without thinking about it too much how about a flippable item that one one side reads Consume Fire to do 1 damage to all adjacent enemies, and on the other side reads consume light to heal 1 damage to all adjacent allies.
Came to say the same thing. I do understand the business side of it, though, even if I don't like it. It's a dangerous slope, though. Want to slow down your competitors? Pay one of their employees to accuse them of something. These days the accusation alone is enough to destroy someone.
concerning items.... I think the issue is the store itself. there is just too much available. there should be a display where a limited amount of items are available at any given time. This will force players to use items they would never had used before and make games a bit more interesting imho.
hope they look at the go7gaming inserts, I am big fan of their existing gloomhaven insert. Its nicely labeled for all the monsters and chits and I feel their quality is better then broken token.
I agree. That’s the one I went with as I wanted a box for ALL the characters. I didn’t like how BT forced you to leave 4 characters in playable trays or whatever. Quality is great.
So is the issue of a "broken" item more of a let down because it's wasting a spot where a more balanced one could be? It seems like even if something is OP you don't *have* to play it in the broken manner if that bugs you. For others it might just be fun to wail away on things or they don't need/want that much of a challenge. I don't go out seeking optimal or "hacky" approaches because I do want some challenge to the game.
Broken items cause problems because not everyone is aligned on how they want to deal with them. You may not go out seeking optimal or hacky but you can easily have a group where some people power game and some people don't. It is a solvable problem but I prefer games to not be broken, vs having to make a decision point on multiple issues. So not the end of the world, just a preference for balance out of the gate!
Come and watch me play Magic The Gathering: Arena!! The BEST decks to beat the meta!! ua-cam.com/channels/XFLYWi1sEIbgSb-kYvssJg.html

@@edouardbertrand6666 exactly.

Ya I like that!
Guess who's back; back again? Neurals back, tell a friend.
I bet the back side of the flippable items will be negative. Like become poisoned to flip it back over.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Ya that would be neat!

That would probably fall into the camp of being too weak, in my opinion, but I get where you're going with it!
I dont like this trend of "guilty until proven innocent"

Imagine distancing from a whole company and hurt the little people there for 1 person.
Anyone who punishes someone over unproven allegations deserves to receive the same punishment.

Try randomizing the items available in your shop. House rules are always welcome if it increases your enjoyment.
I actually really like that! Less useful items could then actually see some play!
Has anyone found all ten letters
i would imagine yes

I also liked how it fits forgotten circles in it

Thanks Mike. Not sure about He Man, need to do a little more research to see if I think it's interesting or not!
