Panther can literally just point and click on the sherman anywhere. Meanwhile panthers can only be hit in the MG port, have their barrels shot out, or you can hope gaijin doesn't say "get fuckt" and go for a turret cheeks shot but volumetric will probably just cause the coaxial or gunner sight to eat the entire thing. And now people bring up the HURR DURR STABILIZER. You see, the thing is.. yes, the stabilizer is nice. But people underestimate just how incredibly stable panthers are in the game. If you don't drive too fast or hit any crazy holes in the road (in which case even the vertical stab doesn't fully help) it's not significantly worse than sherman's stabilizer. Overall, Shermans can handle themselves well enough against panthers, if used by a mildly competent players. But the fact is that the panther works against the sherman anywhere at any range regardless of player skill. The sherman only really works against a panther on urban maps at close range with an at least experienced player.
@@Gary_The_Metro Yes It depends on what kind of map. If it is a long range map, you are fucked. If it's a urban one, you will usually be the winner. I can say this from experience as I play France and have brought sherman to 5.3. The stabilizer can help taking out the barrel, then just shoot it in the side. You don't even have to be flat on the Panthers side as there is only 40mm of armor there, meaning you can shoot it from almost the front with little angle. Same kninda goes for the Jumbo when you are playing a Tiger. Try take the gun out and just shoot between the tracks and watch the fire works.

Ho-Ro and Ro-Go Exp. are the closest thing I ever have to “fun” when playing tanks. Ground forces is still suffering but those two vehicles in particular can actually net me a fun:pain ratio better than 1:1. The type 94 is fun too to troll with because it has surprisingly good penetration.

Its only advantage and only aspect that makes it remotely combat capable is its “speed”, but its at a BR where it’s usually one of the slowest things in the sky and by the time you reach the main engagement area at a halfway reasonable altitude both teams are half done missiling one another out of the sky with AIM-9Es and R-13Ms. The one and only redeeming feature it has is that the Type 5 is a very good gun and very good 30mm, but you almost never get to use it. The tiger isn't even that terrible. What gets Germany mains so salty is getting annihilated all the time because gaijin puts 5.3 stock tigers in 6.3 matches all the time.
Why use the Tiger when you gonna Face either the 400mm Pen At ALL angels Sherman or the Jumbo Sherman or the R3 or you just can't work out how to angle or the Hordes of Soviet Tanks/PE-8 or well anything at all Instead use the Waffentrager a Glasscannon, no need to worry about angling or the Enemy having any Sort of Penetration, a slight Gust of wind will kill you
The jumbo is super easy to kill, there's only one sherman with the 400mm HEAT and it's at 6.0 and has the armor of a wet paper towel, and well the R3 is the R3. Everyone suffers with it. Soviet tanks at this BR as pretty easy to kill and PE-8 is what, 4.3? The Waffentrager has a decent gun but people can literally just MG you and planes will dive on you because you're open top
If you're going to use a glass cannon, might as well use Sturer Emil. At least it has some pretty decent front armor. Still can be lobbed by HE and once a plane sees you you're dead but until that happens you're good. Jagdpanther also doesn't need much angling but it's about the equal of an IS2 in terms of power as long as the IS2 knows what he's doing. (or gets lucky with Stalinium bounce magic) But still massacres if the other team doesn't know what they're doing or if you can get a good position, or if you're not in an uptier.

I think the VK45.01 Porsche should actually be at 4.7 While technically a Tiger, it can't angle and is 10 km/h slower and hardly any better than the KW-85 which is at 4.7 while its MG port can be penned by a .50 on a good day Also the Tiger player bit is overly accurate, tried to play Germany, spawned in an Ostwind II, left for 10min, came back, shot 3 planes or so and made it into the top 5 Said match on Stalingrad the enemy managed to form a train into our spawn

I don’t see why Germany suffers with the tiger tanks at 5.7. I have a blast taking out tanks and bouncing shells with my angled Tiger E. Man German players just gotta angle the tiger and your golden.

The tiger isn't even that terrible. What gets Germany mains so salty is getting annihilated all the time because gaijin puts 5.3 stock tigers in 6.3 matches all the time.

Why use the Tiger when you gonna Face either the 400mm Pen At ALL angels Sherman or the Jumbo Sherman or the R3 or you just can't work out how to angle or the Hordes of Soviet Tanks/PE-8 or well anything at all
Instead use the Waffentrager a Glasscannon, no need to worry about angling or the Enemy having any Sort of Penetration, a slight Gust of wind will kill you
The jumbo is super easy to kill, there's only one sherman with the 400mm HEAT and it's at 6.0 and has the armor of a wet paper towel, and well the R3 is the R3. Everyone suffers with it. Soviet tanks at this BR as pretty easy to kill and PE-8 is what, 4.3?
The Waffentrager has a decent gun but people can literally just MG you and planes will dive on you because you're open top
If you're going to use a glass cannon, might as well use Sturer Emil.
At least it has some pretty decent front armor.
Still can be lobbed by HE and once a plane sees you you're dead but until that happens you're good.
Jagdpanther also doesn't need much angling but it's about the equal of an IS2 in terms of power as long as the IS2 knows what he's doing. (or gets lucky with Stalinium bounce magic)
But still massacres if the other team doesn't know what they're doing or if you can get a good position, or if you're not in an uptier.
@@manguything176 Jumbo is not super easy to kill. But US mains were super easily triggered when it got moved to the higher BR because it was one of the most infamous OP tanks at 4.7

I'd rather say panther is better than the tiger.. even of it had shit tons of problems during ww2 for me it's still better,a really good gun though which is why they had em as bunker turrets 👀

I think the VK45.01 Porsche should actually be at 4.7
While technically a Tiger, it can't angle and is 10 km/h slower and hardly any better than the KW-85 which is at 4.7 while its MG port can be penned by a .50 on a good day
Also the Tiger player bit is overly accurate, tried to play Germany, spawned in an Ostwind II, left for 10min, came back, shot 3 planes or so and made it into the top 5
