In the beginning, I thought, "I've never seen 2 people more awkward/uncomfortable in a room with a person of color in my life." But as I watched on, they got more and more relaxed and realized there was nothing to be nervous about. It was a great example of what Jimmy Eat World mentioned about learning from/about something/someone they're unfamiliar with. Great pod! An unexpected pairing but a great one nonetheless. I started sending my stuff to get professionally mixed a few years back and the demoitis is very real. It took a while for me to get used to hearing myself mixed and mastered, but glad I started putting that effort into it.
