I always loved how in Ghibli films there was never a villain or bad person, even those you would assume where evil ended up simply being misunderstood. That’s what makes Ghibli beautiful to me.

    • @SamuelPulkkinen-jp8ev
      @SamuelPulkkinen-jp8ev 4 місяці тому +3

Straight up villains are rarer, but there are multiple bad people. Some of them, like the pirates in Laputa, simply became allies for the convenience of the situation. They were bad, they were greedy, but it's not like that's all there was to them. Yubaba was a hag that tried to trick Chihiro even at the end, which seemed to be out of mere spite.

What about the queen in howls? The only movies I’ve seen are this one and howls so I’m not sure of other “villains”, but the queen actually seemed kind of evil.

This is a true story that happened to me:
So one time I was at the hospital because my grandpa was close to death after a hart attack he recently had, I was young at the time so I didn’t know what to do. But suddenly the moment came to where doctors had to rush in to save him... I was confused and scared and the doctors told me and my family to wait out on the lobby. The lobby had a piano and someone was playing the song that they were playing last ended and then they announced that they were going to play this song but I didn’t really hear them cause it was a bit loud and their voice was soft but the piano was loud, then they started playing the more notes that they hit the more sadness of their and my emotion started flowing in, it was so beautiful but I didn’t know the name though... my grandpa luckily survived but now is suffering from lack of eye sight. A few years later I started to watch studio Gihbli then I came across Spirited Away I ended up watching it and then I started listening closer to the background music then my memories started coming back to me and when Haku said “Now go, and don’t look back” made me cry....

Bro... Studio Ghibli gives us the most nostalgia... It’s like... how do I say this...
*You don’t remember but you feel it their, in your heart, somehow you FEEL your past and that’s nostalgia, remembering through FEELING IT*
I don’t know, I’m not that smart but... *Not everything can be described. Feel it to know it*

Yesterday was my first time watching spirited away. I thought it was pretty good at first. Wasn't great but pretty good. I watched it for a second time this morning. And then a third. And a fourth. On my fifth time now. I now truly understand what a masterpiece this work of art is and this video made me realize that I need to learn how to play this song.

Turn playback speed to 1.25 x for better experience. But hey! I still like this slightly slow-paced version. Keep up the hard work!:)

I can see how much emotions you put in this! For me that's worth so much more than pure talent. Some pianists make it sound like a robot.
But not this, I can feel the soul!

I haven’t seen the movie or heard this song in so many years... me and my class in school was playing kahoot the other day, we were doing a movie quiz and one question was about this movie and I remembered it haha.. I was the only one who knew the answer and honestly it just made me So happy🥰 I been thinking a lot about this movie for some months now and watched some videos of it on UA-cam the other day and it’s just such a fantastic movie, So weird with the different characters and creatures and things that happens but just So damn cool and also so beautiful, and to hear this melody again, So well done, it’s just.. just amazing🙏🏽❤️ real nostalgia and I just have to see this movie again like Now😹😍 thank you so much for this beautiful and to be honest kinda hard to play cover haha, you are truly gifted, you can just Feel the feelings in this video, so thank you🥰
