Thank you yet AGAIN for reminding me about the amazing game that was Terranigma! I also thought about the path through the Gobi desert, marked with the skulls and bones… amazing.
Some remarks: - Weapon specialist lowers your chances to draw weapons and you don't use the extra modifications much. Maybe drop it? - Thorns come with 40%+ damage mitigation. And the evolution teleports enemies out of contact. It is a defense item in a weapon slot. - it doesn't matter if a evolution consumes a item, as long as it does not also _banish_ that item. If it doesn't banish, you can just draw it again.
Yay, I'm happy. Another "old" man on the internet who knows Terranigma well enough to know the dessert trail. Funnily enough I wasn't thinking of it right away (and haven't seen the other vid where you talked about having a feeling that may be the inspiration) but when I saw you walking north in a dessert and talking about finding a skull pointing to a skull pointing the way that game also came to my mind before you even spoke of it.
The magnets in crates are guaranteed after breaking a certain number of them based on the meta upgrades you've unlocked. If it's every 11 crates and you average breaking 5 crates per fight then the 3rd fights first crate will be a magnet ...
Only weapons get banished and removed by evolutions. Note since shop offerings are based on what you have when you enter you can break the rules and get multiple evolutions and go over weapon limit etc. PS sage leaf and other cant be damage stuff still triggers thorns/rose (I tested it)
Re: Difficulty. The devs have said that their intent for the balance is for the regular game be pretty "casual." The challenges and corruption slider are meant to be where all the, well, challenge comes from.
Full defense build, full thorns only and the talent that converts 50% of defense into power is really OP. You just stand still and let the hordes of enemies run into you and explode instantly upon touching you xD
There appears to be a time limit. I got about 20k away and the boss teleported to me. When the corruption hits 90 it spawns regardless of where you are.
@@rekrn12345 Yeah, got it on my way back (not an idle game) ^^ Forgot to mention that I was on the Necro stage with most of the important dash cards, when you are just a blurr and the game struggles to keep you on screen. The reward is worth it in my opinion
If you want to get the low defense achievements/unlocks, it's a bit unintuitive but you need to NOT get the Unarmored card. That gives you a 0% defense multiplier, which means your defense will always be 0 no matter what, and you can never get it into the negative numbers you need for the unlock.
also ich war der meinung das man 2 waffen die das gleiche gebraucht haben man auch evolven konnte das ging mit dem katana + wind blade und katana + fire spirit so hattest du beide evolutionen zur gleichen zeit.

That would be an interesting build. I wonder how effective against max corruption from the start t.

Easy way for the deep survival runs
Just get the 64 km achievement in a boss stage by just holding space and left till the marker for the altar reached 64k. Don't have to walk

You really should banish the tainted cards early just to get them out of your way. They will come back later if you run out of stuff to buy.
The last zone is always ridiculous and the boss fight too. I'm never sure where the boss actually is, after the time-slow-down phase.

Yeah, basic game is easy. Turn up the difficulty (corruption slider and challenges). ;)
Turn the corruption all the way up, ALL THE WAY UP, and the mansion is not as easy. XD Just beat B rank on Max Corruption last night
1:21:00 There's a b-rank challenge where you have a cap on item rarity which makes the game take very long lol
