Price was never mentioned as it is a dynamic. Do you live in the area? The lot price is determined by location. Finding an area you love is first and foremost your goal. A lot normally talks to you and gives you an understanding of a possible layout. From there, you can then determine the size and finishes of your home. It gives you the freedom to get onto a desirable area and then adjusting your home to match your budget. It also allows you to possibly build a home in a good area at less then current homes for sale in the area. Obviously, if you wanted an indoor pool, it would affect price. Many buyers are reluctant to build out of fear. This option allows you full control over total price.
