I was on the taxiway at Waterloo in a 2006 Diamond DA40 on April 25 behind a few planes waiting to depart runway 08 when I heard a familiar voice over the radio say, Waterloo Tower, EYZ holding short runway 08 ready for departure. I look up and sure enough right in front of me was you and your plane. I think Diamond must have raised the plane higher over the years as it looked much taller than the Diamond I was flying, if that makes any sense. Maybe it was just my imagination. Your Diamond DA40 NG looks fantastic in person.
That was me !! I was picking up my instructor as he had dropped his plane off at a shop on the field at Waterloo. Yes, they did extend the height of the landing gear, so the NG's sit higher than the older models.....Thanks for watching !! EYZ
