Hey there, I'm not an amazing player but my duo and I consistently get diamond in double up. With double up there are basically four scenarios you can get at the start of the game. Either you are strong and your partner is weak, your partner is strong but you are not, you're both strong, or you're both weak. Simplifying further, you can either be synced with your partner or not. Good economy in double up come from being synced with your partner, because if you aren't your streak is likely to be disrupted by the army sharing mechanic. So, if they are lose streaking and you are strong, you will probably come "help" them at some point and cause them to win when they want to keep losing, or they won't come help while your opponent's partner does causing you to lose your win streak. The only exception is if you are playing a comp that wins very, very quickly like Edgelords in round 3. Then you can hard carry your partner and both winstreak. But that's obviously unreliable. In general, if your partner is weak, you should aim for econ and lose streak and then try to both spike together at 3-1 or 4-2 even if you have the potential to build a winning board.

Above 50g but sometimes you need to roll deeper if you lose too much HP

I usually level to 6 when I have 8 copies of a Yasuo etc. so I don’t lose too much and build more traits. is that a good idea?
Go for Yasuo 3 at lvl 4 or 5, you'll get a better win streak after
