The meta is turning out weirdly recently. Most people are skipping lelve 6, 7 and 8 just to go for fast 9. This is actually an opportunity for you because it means you can greed too and simply play slower to max out your econ and increase your odds of finding your 3 stars (if you are not contested). 👉 Join My Private Discord and learn the OP comps before they become contested www.youtube.com/@frobei/join
12.00 often when im playing a reroll comp that is decently contested in a patch (not super contested) i'll just bank for 4-5 turns at the level i should reroll at. In the Kata example i'll just push lv 6 decently fast (if, say, i got a lucky Headliner Kata and good items on stage 2) and then sit there. I'll rebuild my eco and then bank up to 70-80 gold, wait and see if i natural some Katas in the shop and if other players have transitional Katas or they just commit to rerolling her. At around 80 gold i'll do a last scouting and either push 7 and stabilize or, if i have 5-6 katas, i'll reroll down to 50 and keep slowrolling for the 3* (also finding an early unit strong on lv 7 is a good reason to level and then roll :D)
I think I got a pretty good feel for 1 cost rerolls. Honestly, my only mistake is rerolling bad units sometimes, cause fun. 2 cost rerolls have always felt especially difficult to me. 2 costs are in such a weird spot where they are harder to get than 1 costs, harder to natural into especially, and their powerlevel is dubious.. some are good and some are way too worthless. 3 cost rerolls have gotten more difficult this set, cause its just impossible when you are contested. Scouting got more important, Id say. Currently, probably due to imbalances, games feel really tempo heavy, making it a bit more difficult to chill... But yes, I probably should just chill more and give it some time.
Its so bad. When the top comps are contested and the remaining comps are underpowered in comparison. It gets frustrating being just 1 away and theres nothing you can do about it until they die, and you gotta survive to use 5 costs.
@kingrockkid I don't think it was ignored, I think it was just too reliant on hitting Kat and actual crowd divers lol. Every set(just in my own mind) there's certain traits and units I never see roll that often, this set its crowd diver, like I can't even remember the last time I even seen a Yone. It's almost like the game knows and has common and uncommon comps, like how often does a moshers comp go well? But even that's slept on this week
@@keithbrackens1576 Crowd Divers arent hard to hit, even just a Kat 2 with Akali and Zed 2 can do well since fewer people go for those units and thin out the pool between stage 3 and 4. Moshers are a lot more specific and require a lot more to go right to be effective. Ive had no difficulties with Crowd Divers besides getting the most optimal augments.
Very cool tool! Sometimes you only care about the 3* and not which headliner trait they have so the odds would doubled right? Because you are looking for 2 headliners instead of 1 out of the same bag size.
It's mathematically impossible to have 2 Ahri 3 stars in the same game as an example ideed. You don't need to have a headliner to make 3 stars but it helps quite a lot
I see that the website has a specific headliner calc. Do we have confirmed insight on how exactly your headliner shop is decided? Does it select a tier, then champion (IF half of that champion arent out of the pool), then assign a +1 trait?
Yup, and the +1 trait can't be the same if you already saw the headliner before. Eg: you have Katarina Country, you skipped it and never bough any HL, the next Kata will be Crowd Diver because she can't be Country
Doesn't that mean that it's sometimes worth to sell, let's say, one or two miss fortunes, so that there are more mf's, in the pool, critically more than 50% so that you can hit the headliner? Sounds a bit stupid to me, though i can understand why they did it. But it's funny that when rerolling for 3 star it could be better not buying non headliner copies until you find the headliner.
That was from the last set but it changed this set. It is now 22 / 20 / 17 / 10 / 9 as shown in the video. It's also why it's much harder to hit 3 stars the minute you are contested
It wasn't secret, it was clearly stated in the patch notes and they explained it in the set 10 rundown, along with their reasoning for why they did it.
@@espenkristiansen3160 Im sure their reasoning is stupid, all they did is making griefing other players easier. And by secret i mean its nowhere to be found within the game. Like when you open or play the game, the pool size is completely hidden, which was dumb from the beginning, major changes like that should be mentioned somewhere within the game. You can notice changes like the level up costs but not the champion pool size. I also didnt expect the change in the pool size because they havent changed it for many sets, if you carefully and thoroughly read the patch notes yes, you can find it. i just looked for it and its there, but who wants to do that when they flood you with endless information like bluebuff giving 5 less mana when you havent played for months because the last set was so trash. Even when you skip to systems, the relevant part, they start the section with useless information that you can notice ingame when you play anyway. When you dont expect a pointless change then you are also not looking for it, but yes. I guess its not a secret change, just completely hidden within the game. And it was my fault for not looking for it,.

@Frobei I live in Las Vegas if you need any tips! Hope you enjoy your trip.
Oh hey thanks! Are the SIM Cards for unlimited 4G data expensive? I've heard the wifi isn't great where I'll stay
@@Frobei Best Buy carries "Ultra Mobile" sim cards. $2 for the card and the plan is $40 a month for unlimited 4g data.
Sounds good to me, thanks for the info!

Let's hope next week's patch taking the power out of jazz balances the end game board a bit more
@@keithbrackens1576 Everyone was so focused on Jazz they ignored Crowd Divers. Ended 3 games with 100 hp because Kat and Akali are cranks.

16:27 hi Frobei, does this rule applies to tier 4 and 5? For example let's say i have 6 copies of TF then is it imposible for me to get a Chosen TF?
Yup exactly. If you want to 3 star it you need to hold 5 copies max and then hope to get a Headliner TF then find the last copy of it
I love your parrot 😍
where do i find that tool you had at the start of your video where it shows the amount of all units.
Question does carousels increase the count of each champion or it just show the current champion in the pool?
You can only (3)star 4 and 5 cost units if you have them as headliner??? Its impossible to have 2 (3)star 4 costs???

Hey Frobei, I think you used wrong pool sizes it should be:
Tier 1: 29
Tier 2: 22
Tier 3: 18
Tier 4: 12
