Courtney is one of my favorite vocalists in the scene. She's just soo versatile, I looove how she can sing such a beautiful, haunting melody but melt your face with the most gut-wrenching, primal screams.
I felt the same way. There were touches from all over their discography in there (minus the screaming of course). Loved Josh's (lead?) singing on the chorus!
@ There’s an online interview for NME with download boss Andy Copping and in a question ‘Who is the one artist that you’re personally really looking forward to seeing this year?’ He replied with ‘Very tough question, but it’s going to be Sleep Token. To see them headlining a major festival for the first time is so exciting for me. We’re already on album three and album four should be out by the time Download comes around…’ Funnily enough the part about the album has now been edited and is not in the interview anymore
@@zack_ewAll he could’ve said was, “There’s new Sleep Token music coming out next year”, and that would have been better from a PR perspective than literally saying that there’ll be a new album.
Courtney is such a special talent. She doesn't need to flex those harsh vocals to still pack punch. And studio producers need to be taking notes, the layering and production on the Fear of Fear ep and now this is just immaculate
Yeah they are... I fucking LOVE this new djenty flavour of metalcore that seems to be growing. Architects, Currents, Spiritbox, Polaris, Glass Crown etc- metal needed something fresh and invigourating, and I'm all in for it.
Really wanted to hear some scream vocals, whilst simultaneously hoping they stuck to the gorgeous, clean vibe they set up from the start. How crazy is that?
Love that they're finally utilizing Josh's voice.
I didn’t think they could top the elegance of Ultraviolet and now here we are
Im stoked they kept the "blue" theme going from Eternal Blue to Tsumai Sea. 2025 is going to be a banger year for music
I think the chorus in ultraviolet is still better
Feels a lot like something from the Blessed Be era, and it is soooo good
this has the feeling of Eternal Blue but the technicality of their older stuff!

@@DavidRiehl756 Exactly! Someone is definitely getting into trouble with that haha!
@@iikittycatiiShould be out before june, caaan't wait
another Spiritbox banger
Mike has to write the most bouncy riffs ever guy is a genius
More Josh, cleans on top of screams incoming
For real, I love Mike's sound, and how vital it is to _their_ sound
The harmonies are 😘 I love the vibe too!
I love living in the “you need good headphones to get all this” metal 🤘
Many of us are so happy to finally get more vocals from josh. Adding more of him is just icing on the cake
Was he a long haul member of AILD, or just a session guy?
@Deletirium long haul member. 2006 to 2014. Then 2018 to 2022 when they got back together when tim got out of prison

For me it has that Constance feel from eternal blue but just faster and groovier
ETHEREAL is the word. God they are amazing!

Trust Fall live must be so interesting with Josh in the mix now ...
Mike's riffs are the perfect complement to Courtney's vocals... the universe could not have produced a more flawless combination if it tried.
it reminds me a bit of Constance and blessed be
There is 100% a Take on me tribute @1:42 2:55 and on.
CoupSounds in chat saying this was on the "low end of music for me" triggered me a bit, but to each their own opinion lol
Every react channels twitch chat is cringe. Seriously kills the vibes of UA-cam videos that include them
they always piss me off lol. think its something about the kind of person that watches livestreams 24/7, unbearable personalities lol.
@@bunjicord93 not all. MetalBirb, Ohrion and Nik have pretty cool Twitch chats
I don't simp often, but when I do, it's usually for Courtney LaPlante.

Haha I know what you mean
