- In this video, we will visit the Motor Museum of Western Australia, located in Whiteman Park, about a 30 minute drive, north-east of Perth City. They have a pristine collection of motor vehicles, ranging from the earliest days of motoring until today. Veterans and vintage, then common cars from the 1950s, and Australian muscle cars from the late 1960s. I have included a segment I filmed in 1968 (I believe it was) at Sydney's Oran Park Raceway where we see Ian Geoghegan in his Ford Mustang doing battle with Norm Beechey ("Stormin Norman") in his Chevvy Camero. Then we continue our tour of the vehicles, all significant examples of our motoring history. Once again, I thank www.Purple-Planet.com for the music they have so kindly licensed for us to use, and to the Motor Museum of WA who encourage visitors to photograph their exhibits. Excellent, Terry. I remember many of these vehicles swarming our roads!
The Venables Leederville ute brought back memories too, as I applied
for an apprenticeship in mechanics with that company, failed, back to
school!

Great to see the yellow car that was on the pole has been relocated with some friends :)
I suspect he is getting ready to return for he has now disappeared. Seems he loves it in the pole, and is waiting for an opportunity to return now that the road work is finished.

As I suspected, he has now been relocated back to the Western Park entrance, on top of a pole, this time on the northern side just inside of the main gate.
why didnt u show the delorean?
It is so sad. I love that car, but it was not on show at the time. It may have been removed to show elsewhere, or for maintenance. I'll keep an eye out, and maybe do its own 5 minute segment when it returns, just for you. Thanks for the query.
