I'm a licensed esthetician 🙆🏼 I say exfoliate 1-2 times a week, tops. A really intense peel/resurfacing treatment shouldn't be done more then every 2-3 months.

J Wils hello j wills could you help me out never been to a derm but could definitely use one, i have sensitive fair skin enlarged pores and often become dry or dehydrated in my cheeks the problem area also occasional breakouts from certain excess foods lack of management or cortisone cream or jergens revitalizing i like to add tone to mt complexion but shower rinsesit off its just to sustain and not enough to add in general i find anything other than a certain tonic or toner has been to pore clogging to my skin which i know can trigger acne as well too much abrasive chemicals i go with mainly exposed products from science and nature and nightime pore serum is only thing i use but want to have something that doesnt clog my pores to the morning before showering its non comedogenic but still thick i have started using a facial brush which is like a luna foreo but i think i can only use it once a week although not removing debris right from my cheeks sets my complexion bad and overdrying is even worse i think i may be able to use the sensitive everyday in a low setting with warm water my default or a new skin product customary to my skin type 2 from rennee rouleau or possibly ann marie giovanni which if i use on first or second setting at a minimal plus half radius of contact on skin will work but cant be certain would use a derm cloth but that only lasts about a month need consistency for my complexion and hydration im a 33 year old dude and think dudes have tougher skin what do i do
If you haven’t tried it of course you will think it’s wack for the price but once this device touches your face and you experience results after the first use you’ll Change your mind. This device is life changing for problematic skin. I saved up and waited almost a year to invest. I don’t regret it AT ALL.
An investment that will last long - And something good is that there is often great discounts, there are actually some discounts right now n the Foreo webside. I absolutely love the material and the stimulation is very gentle so i totally agree Foreo Luna gives a fair exfoliation, so i only use it 4 days a week usually at night and its just great - I have Lunago super convenient to move around and Luna3 that the bristles are amazing and very gentle.

For me peronally, it´s a LOVE IT. Without this, my skin have some dry patches and my makeup dosen´t go on smoothly. I find that this one really helps with my skin. I have combination to dry skin. It also helps to control my oils in the long run. It does really help my skin in the long run and for me I like using it like 1-2 times/day and I do it gently and have it on a lower to medium-ish speed.
I have the blue one. I truly love this one and don´t wanna live without it. My skin just dosen´t look as good when I don´t use it atleast 3 times/week.

now what I concern is what's the difference between luna 2 and luna 2 professional.
I think age may play a factor into how often you exfoliate. Young skin naturally turns over with normal cleansing. As a 53 year old using Retin A, I find that I need to exfoliate ever other day.
I absolutely agree with you. This is a must have for anyone with thorough routine aim. I use it for a year now nd still works wonders for my skin.
I thought the back ridges were for helping your serums and moisturizers soak in better. I read that once you put them on your supposed to use the back to help force them into your skin...

I love my mini2. It was 139.00 at Sephora. It does not have the ridges for serum application which I did not realize when I bought it but I mainly wanted it for cleaning my skin. I had the Clarisonic previously and felt it was too irritating even with the delicate brush head. The Foreo does a great job especially on pores and is a breeze to keep clean. It's great not having to buy replacement brush heads. I think of the Foreo more as a cleaning tool than an exfoliator so my delicate, dry skin does fine once or twice a day. I use the Le Mieux tool for exfoliating once or twice a week.💗
It is amazing. I do recommend this device over 40. I am using it every morning and evening. It works well in cleansing and after this I use the back side for massage. It works too. I see the results in 1 week. You are a young beautiful women. You may need it after 40

I have the foreo mini. I got it on ebay for $19. It wasn't marked with a brand but came in the packaging. I like it for when I do spa night at home. I have very dry skin so it doesn't exfoliate well enough for me. I use an exfoliating sponge which gets rid of my dry spots. But I use hydrating masks and work it in. It feels relaxing.
I feel like you are the most honest person on UA-cam and give a real review because you really want us to have a good look into products and pros and cons of it so thank you for that because I feel I can really trust you and your opinions 😊😌

I love Luna mini 2! My ride or die for sure. It's a little smaller but sufficient for my everyday use. Also it is travel friendly.
Luna 2 - best thing ever made ! Simply love it
I would suggest getting the Luna Mini (original). It's $100 at ulta and is the perfect size for the face. I don't believe there is a side for serum application but honestly I personally wouldn't use it for that. It has two speeds but I only use the faster speed (lets be honest, will most of you ever use more than 2 speeds? Lol). I've had to charge it once in the 8+ months I've owned it. Super awesome and not abrasive and more sanitary than the clarisonic which I owned before the foreo. :) love the Luna mini- all my aunts now own it because of me 😂
Also, I use this every morning and night because I slather my face in oils every AM/PM. I have normal skin and rarely have dry patches or acne and hardly get oily (fortunately/unfortunately lol). You're just supposed to rest the tool on top of the skin, not pressed into the skin. Because of this I personally don't find it to exfoliate much and haven't experienced any negative effects from using it as much as I do. But keep in mind I keep my face moisturized at alllll times and was also blessed with momma's good skin genes. But to each their own! Everyone's skin is different ^_^
I have one the mini Luna. I love mine but I only use it 3 times a week. I don't see using the back side of the big one for serums ect. my serums go into my skin so fast.

My Foreo Luna Mini is $100 at Ulta but with points that got me $20 off I got it for $80. It's so much better than a Clarisonic that literally makes my face red and irritated even with the Cashmere Brush Head.
Hi im a guy and I visited a skin expert and they recommended the clarasonic, I heard it cleans the skin little...overdoing.. and should use that device(clarasonic) few times a week cause it really scales the skin. Then I study this one and heard its much better when it comes to everyday using, and it doesn't damage the skin at all. I have already a very good skin and want my skin to even look better.... Fore is a swedish made device..... does it really make the skin look better?

Is there any difference between my $150 Lifetrons CMD-100 cleanser and my gf's $10 iFlashDeal Facial Cleansing Brush? I honestly cannot tell the difference apart from the fact the $10 unit has wireless charging!

I bought the Luna 1 a few years back and it broke me out. The associate at Sephora said my skin was probably "purging" like you mentioned. I've considered getting it multiple times after that but I'm afraid of the breakouts! Thanks for the tip on using a lower setting to prevent purging!

Hi Serein!!!!!! I have been SO busy!!! I'm trying to catch up a bit!! Wanted to come by and say hi! I agree with everything you said with the Foreo!!!! You know your stuff and I love that about you!!!! I actually prefer this over the Clarisonic. I noticed I am over using mine so my skin is purging..Because it's just so stinking cute it's hard not to use. LOL..... I noticed I tend to over use it. I have to leave it in my bathroom sink so that I don't use it every night in the shower.. I do feel this is safer for the skin. Unlike the Clarisonic where the brush has to be changed out and if you don't replace it right away a lot of bacteria sticks to it.. I had the clarisonic but didn't like it as much as this. Anyway, loved your video and review!!!!

what do you use to clean your face in between luna?
serein! have you tried the solo mia? its sold on amazon and even though i have not tried the foreo, i think its a great alternative! its WAY cheaper and leaves my skin super soft!!
started foreo luna 2 blue end of Nov so now it's been only almost 4 month and 2nd time I'm noticing that after 10 sec (less than the normal time before it stops automatically to change the zone for cleaning) it stops by itself, then I have to press gain for it to start, instead of starting automatically. Last time I brought it to charge again and it worked normally again, but after 2 months again I'm facing the problem now. I thought they said it should last around 7 months on battery? anyone having same prob like me?

I don't understand why these are so big. Are they not meant to get in around the nose? It seems too bulky for that. The concept of these goes right over my head apparently. 😐

I haven't tried the MT one, only the Clarisonic one. Honestly I like them for occasional use, but they all do not need to be used every day.
+Serein Wu the fereo actually tells you to change. ! thank you for that .I purchased fereo iris , and it doesn't have a pulse to tell you to change . Go to other side of the face. or I can not feel it, I just count for 30 seconds and then go to the other eye.
Everyday Starlet the Soniclear is amazing! I have them both and the Soniclear is better, especially with the cashmere brush head it feels amazing!
back of the foreo is for anti aging products. force serums into the skin and you tap it, not rub it.

Does the mini have the different settings for intensity? I think that might be it, but honestly I don't really mess with that anyways so if you want to save a bit of money, the mini should do the trick.

I saw you use the mini version of this in a vlog I think and I've wanted to try it since! I use my Clarisonic two times a day everyday and sometimes a washcloth before the Clarisonic 😮 I'm definitely going to try not exfoliating my face as often- that's going to be a really tough one for me lol.

Hi Serein! What do you think about konjac sponges? Do you think washing face with face soap/cleanser and konjac sponge everyday is bad for skin? Is it too much exfoliating?
The ones I've tried are pretty gentle, but I do worry about the bacteria that can fester in them. Make sure you are hanging them to dry fully and not sitting in it's own puddle. Replace often too. With any exfoliation, limit it to 3 times a week max.

+SweetieGlamGirl if you buy from Sephora, you should be able to return it if it stopped working. Also Foreo should have a good warranty and you can always contact them about it

I just found out! So it's a lot better than the 30-40 I thought, but I still prefer the full sizes :-) The play would be good for travel though.

can you review some Younique products. I am not a sales person for this company..but I am curious how their products stack up against others that are in the price range...
I have tried the Luna oil, but there's a lot of acid properties to it, so I have to look into it more and ask Kerry what her thoughts are on it. Is it throwing our skin off balance? I'm not sure yet.
I did when I first started my channel and my friend was selling it, but I was not impressed and actually threw most of it away.
It hasn't thrown my skin off balance at all. I think the luna has retinol in it though, and I already use a prescription strength retinol at night. So I already went through adjusting to that. I just apply a few drops of the Maracuja instead of a cream moisturizer, or is I have really dry patches, I'll dab some cream on top of the oil and it's cleared by morning. But I know that there are so many different claims with all of her different oils, so I wonder if I could benefit more from using them. As soon as I turned 27, I started really worrying about aging, and premature wrinkles, so I've changed a lot in my lifestyle and skin care routine. This is the only skin I get, and if her oils are better, then I think it's worth investing in. I just feel that her line is a bit confusing, and even some Sephora associates have said that they have no clue what to recommend to try.
I use the olay pro X and works very well for me. Also its $30 lol! 💖
