Of all the songs I have listened in my lifetime, this is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. Closing my eyes and just listening to Saidaş Monguş sing it is so peaceful, allowing me to envision a majestic, tranquil, pristine, and culturally diverse world. This man is a cultural and musical ambadassador of Tuva.

This music is of the world. So much more eternal than all the cheap, consumable music produced by the American pop music machine. Thanks so much for sharing this video, and kudos to Saydas for a beautiful production of Ötüken.
I am Turkish and I understand some words from this song. -- Original: Ödügen Tayga Çurttugla Men Öle Sigen Çıttıgla Men. FINALLY!! Thanks for reposting this song/chant! Now I finally nown WHO this amazing singe/throat/overtone singer is and then found him on Wikipedia with more info about him. However, it woud be great to know who the producer, arranger and filmmaker of the video is as well. I look forward to more info. And I just subscribed to your channel! Again, thanks!
@florenceriggs5256 The clip is filmed and produced in Mongolia during a "Khamag Mongol (Greater Mongolia)" project a few years ago. Tuvans and mongols share common historic and cultural heritage (food, clothing and art). Although the tuvans speak turkic there are up to 40% mongolian words mixed in their vocabulary. Tuvans are considered as ancient turks, who managed to keep their ancient ways relatively alive due to their geographic isolation. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of producers, filmmakers and arrangers. Probably, they from one of the many studios in Ulaanbaatar.
We Americans think we're so cool....This video far outshines any throat singing by American singers trying their best... even so Saydas sets a very high bar and whoever wrote the arrangement receives high praise for the music!
Does anyone understand the prayer/praises he's saying that begins ay 3;20 ? it ends with "ORAII. KURAII". . My interpretation of that phase is something like " I praise, acknowledge and stand in awe of the wonders of the Universe!" What do YOU guys think?!?
Thank you, Yusuf, for providing the lyrics!
