He actually did not beat the odds! The probability to get a knife is 0.26%. 10000*0.26% = 26. So he is spot on! His approximation of 1/400 is just not right. It's actually about 1/384.61

That's still higher than getting a knife in your first Case. But pretty unlucky indeed.
Generally I can only recommend not opening cases and buying skins directly, if one wants skins

You should do a video like taking a fan's budgets and kitting them with the best combos to show what people can do with what they have! I'm new to CSGO so I've been really wanting to open a knife myself

Absolutely insane that you actually did this. I feel like everyone always expects that spending the most money makes the most enjoyable video, but my favourite part of these videos is when you just spend time with your friends. You should do a video where instead of spending a lot of money, you just hang out with your friends and do some ranked or something like that. Idk just an idea.
The final calculations are the reason I have opened 5 cases in total. I was always just buying the skins that I wanted and could afford. Sadly with the current state of CS, I have sold everything and used the money for new clothes, to repair my car, and to visit the dentist. I am not planning to buy anymore skins, but I enjoy watching your trade-ups and openings

Great video as always. I have a suggestion for a video idea. I know you always give tons back to the community and you enjoy doing so, hence:- host a giveaway where you give people (twitch/UA-cam streamers, randos from CS lobby, previous trade offers) skins for the whole loadout for both CT & T. Can be tiered too, complete classified/covert loadout. It would be a different type of video.
