Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Seeing Judy hug her daughter Cassie after she made the team was so sweet - you could tell how proud Judy was as a mother.
Because the fix wasn't in for Cassie? She was always going to make it. Even during her time on the team when her asthma prevented her from finishing a routine and her knee was messed up they didn't cut her. Cassie being a DCC was a breach of integrity.
It was fixed... you know it was... Cassie was good but they cut others that were better.. it was fixed
Judy should not have had any say in Cassies case, but hey the world runs by who you know, not your knowledge.
And WTH was that about keeping the "worst dancers" and cut some of the best dancers. That was stupid
@@thepixielife219 They asked Judy to leave when they did interviews with Cassie and several other times when Kelly would ask everyone's opinion on Cassie...but yeah regardless of being injured or asmatic she made the squad ...At least she never made Point!!!
There was not a chance in the world Cassie wouldn't make the DCC squad bc of her mother. Too many other girls' had better personality and dance skills compared to Cassie. Everyone in that room knew she'd be elected to the squad regardless how average she was .
Kelsi Reich, imo, was one of the prettiest dccs ever!

She auditioned with that style. It’s not so bad and she doesn’t have the cookie cutter style everyone else has.
It’s a glorified mullet.
So, they play touch football with actual pros but once they make the team, if a player walks into a restaurant where they are, they have to get up and leave. Interesting mixed messages here.
The show is so enjoyable but I can't get passed the BS these girls have to do as part of this team.

@@katiafuller2708 Unfortunately. They are leveraging the prestige of being on the squad their dreams of being picked in order to take advantage of all of these women's time and effort. The rules vary from team to team but they're all pretty similar.

It's crazy how much work these girls put in to only make 12 dollars an hour and 400 per game
At this time it was > 8$ per hour and around 200 a game...
I mean they know how much they’re getting for being on the team, so I do not really feel sorry for them.

It's weird seeing Sydney as a rookie and hearing how she struggles, then she goes on to be a 7 year veteran.
I never saw the episode where they played football. That was great. Those girls have some skills. Whoever said that cheerleaders weren't real athletes need to watch this.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I just don't feel like Cassie deserved her spot over some of the ones who didn't make it. They can say there was no favoritism all they want, but it's a flat-out lie. There NO WAY that Judy was gonna be okay with Kelly not putting her daughter on that team. No way whatsoever...
They did a side episode of DCC brides. The majority of that was Cassie's wedding planning and wedding. Clearly, that was the purpose of that episode.
Love this show! So glad boot camp isn't a thing anymore.

Well dancing isn't everything. As long as she can keep pace with those around her and "look fabulous" while doing it she should do OK. The end result is they wish to have the squad look somewhat uniform and have a good look. Dance ability definitely helps, but you can "fake it". Over time everyone generally improves a little so that is the hope.

DCC’s are the best
I absolutely love the professionalism of JUDY and KELLEY I think it’s really wonderful how they remember every girls name by the beginning of the first episode they know every girls name and JUDY 🌻🌻🌻🐣🐣🐣 is really observant of which girl is where on the field or in the studio anyway for what it’s worth I think it’s really amazing.

Eleonore Bon well not everyone is close to their family or has a family. I have friends that aren’t close to their families, that’s why they have best friends instead because we were chosen to be in their lives.
@@bluewolfsilver Of course, I am also closer to some friends than to certain family members. But I certainly don't think I would want to talk to some random cheerleader before departure. But that's just me of course.

Where's Dak? Come on we all know Dak is and will be the QB for the Cowboys for many years unless he gets injured. Great game tho. Fun times in Dallas I see. Its great to see the DCC interact with the players and learn who is who and their position on the team. Many of the DCC cheerleaders seem not to know their own players, but they should! Brain befor beauty. Judy & Kelly do an excellent job selecting only the BEST for the DCC group. I too wish to be a DCC but unfortunetly, I am unable to walk, but I would love to have a DCC signed calender and a original signed photo of Kelly & Judy. I just love them. I loved and also remeber Kelly & Judy cheering for the DCC. That's why I love the DCC.
When I think of the LOOK of DCC..... I think of Kelsi @ 5:03. Stungun.

@@mackenziemeehan3457 $12.00 an hour and $400.00 a game is still considered a low pay as these dancers go through rigid training. Plus the Dallas Cowboys franchise is worth $5.5 Billion dollars. I get football is a boys game but after watching Making the Team, these girls deserve to be paid more.
Sherry W but they want to be there. They get something out of it. They are constantly working out. I know people who work out like that but they are paying someone. Some are in college, some are married, some have other jobs. They come back year after year.
You know who also wants to be on the field? The NFL players who get paid Millions of dollars because they too trained at a young age Onfalia this popular sports. And, guess what ! Many of these Football players are married and have a family. If the stakes are high to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, such as keeping a certain weight, physical appearance, learn 50 dance routines, be media ready and following strict rules; then these women should be paid well.
@@jakevschase The football team is the main draw, not the cheerleaders. The football team is the big money maker. The team brings in billion of dollars while the cheerleaders bring in over a million dollars in revenue. The team is pay by what they bring in, and the cheerleaders are paid by what they bring in. Two different part of the Cowboys Organization.
