🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
There is something about watching the USS Abraham Lincoln slowly move through the water that makes me proud to be an American and a veteran. We didn’t get a welcome in 1970 when we came home nor did the ones who never made it back get the recognition deserved. But today , seeing our military, having strangers say “thank you for your service” , and sharing the “Welcome Home” greeting with my brothers and sisters… continues the pride in this Great Country that all our military, active and retire , share. Now 80yrs old, all veterans I’ve met are ready to defend this county should the need arise.
In God We Trust , and in America We share the pride of being an American🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank for your service Sir. And God Bless all our military, past and present.
Thank you to all that serve our great nation ❤
4:55 Great view with Rosecans National Cemetery in the background, I remember going there when I was a kid in the 50’s & 60’s.
In 2024, for over 52 years, I have been amazed each time a carrier enters or departs SD Bay, that includes my time on a destroyer sailing the open seas next to these great ships. Proud to live in San Diego.
I never get tired of watching this giant aircraft carrier with all the sailors navigate this SD Harbour! Well done to the Tug Pilots for guiding them in so safely! Thank you & love from me in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa ❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤
What a majestic looking ship is this. Welcome home.
Awesome
I worked the ship as a rigger with a large crane in everett wash. And im telling you its one of the most ship shape ships iv ever been working on . And am so glad these ships are on our side
Fabulous.
She's beautiful.
nice ship man
❤
All smiles
Hey Everyone!
My son is on this ship.
Did they Find the Sub ?
Admittedly ignorant query. How is this port entry different from others, in that the rail isn't manned in dress whites? Not returning from a tour overseas? An unscheduled return?
They are not returning from a deployment. They were local, training.
@@SanDiegoWebCam Thank you.
The Lincoln is returning from the east coast or japan to San Diego?
Coming home for a facelift!!
@@lizmallard7158 what was its previous home port?
@@80smetalisawesome why you ask? Feeling bored.
@@lizmallard7158 yeah I remember when I was in back in 2015-2019 and going down to NAS North Island on the Nimitz CVN 68 there was only the Vinson and Roosevelt homeported there
