What great content. I had been avoiding the true mutichromes because I thought the dark base might be too extreme for me. But now I can just play with my iridescent to find out if I even need anything else. 😊 How fun!
oooh good catch! I just thinking of their jewelled but I do see how these colour is similar to crown jewel... I think crown jewel has more gold to it so maybe gilding + glow + an ocean blue shimmer mixed would make something like crown jewel, I might try that mixture in a future Make it or Buy it video :D
@@brainsbeauty I have gilding and glow and crown jewel. I can try mix some of my clionadh shades to see if I can dupe crown jewel. It’s such a unique shade though so I don’t know if I’d be able to dupe it haha it’s not so much the colour or even the shifts with crown jewel, what makes it unique to me is it has sooo much dimension on the lid xx
The best way to get an even look out of iridescent multichrome while using a black base is actually mixing them. Like you said in the video it brings out the shift better. What I like to do is to stain the iridescent's pan with some black eyeshadow. It is controversial but that way when you pick it up with your finger the color is already mixed and you can even forgo putting a black base underneath, especially if you just a light wash of the color. I also feel like it mimics the effect of a jewelled tone multichrome the best.
Thank you for sharing your experience! That would work too if your main goal is to make it richer :) I do love iridescents on their own too or layered over other colours so I wouldn't personally stain the pan but scrapping the top layer and mixing it with a black in another pan and pressing it works great so I can still have an iridescent shade + a version of it that mimic the jewelled tones in another pan! I just love how each person can customize or use them however they want, they're very versatile.
Thank you! Yes I do have an instagram (brainybeauty97) and I do eyelooks with these shadows on their too :). I'm from Canada (lived here my whole life) but if you mean ethnicity, Lebanese
@@brainsbeauty great to meet you! I'm Bangladeshi, but currently living in Australia. Glaminatrix is searching for PR list update, I'd like to add you, but I couldn't find you using your Instagram ID. You should check their insta :-)
@@t.j1274 its nice to meet you too, I have several close friends who are from Bangladesh 💕💕 oh so sorry I recently changed it to "itsbrainybeauty" and forgot I left this comment, I'll keep it updated in my video description box. I would love to be on the glaminatrix PR list because they make my favourite colourstories, I'm planning to post my review of silent night next week. But I'm not sure they would add me since I still have a very small following 😅
This is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours so far 💚💛❤🧡
Idk how I missed this but thank you ❤❤ much more mixing content to come!

Thank you!! Happy to hear that, iridescent multichromes are my favourite because of that versatility!
31:42 looks like clionadh Crown Jewel. The vibrant multichrome. It’s gorgeous and much better in person than on camera I absolutely love it x

May I ask, which country you are from? Do you have Instagram where you post these swatches? I really like these
