Gudday Dan, Thanks for dropping by, hope you are surviving the deluge you guy's are copping, I think things are starting to look up, sunshine today 😎. Be safe Mate Cheers Brad
Hey there Marc and Angela, It is a great place to visit but you will need a strong nose to put up with smell as it is a bird nesting island/national park. Hundreds of thousands of birds nest in every tree but don't let that put you off, the magic is underwater, not to forget the turtles nesting etc. Sorry to get back to you sooner, been busy house hunting. Be safe and Keep it real Brad
Hey there Cricket, thanks for watching. I need to upgrade my cameras and we decided to get a new one soon with strobe lights etc. The footage just does'nt give it justice, but as you know the deeper you go the colours soon fade out. I had a little Panasonic Tough and it is only rated down to 10 metres and to watch it start to cave in to a point I thought it would implode, not good. We are having heaps of rain and flooding here and diving is out of the question, can't see a thing. Cheers Brad
@@bradwelch7425 i just took a one on one class with a National Geographic photographer that now lives in Okinawa. It was great. I need a new camera 📸 need to master my current camera first though...it’s a 15 year old cannon rebel xsi that has sat in a closet for basically 15 years
Nice dive mate. I could never dive in a shorty suit down here... would lose a limb from frostbite, lol. Splashed out on a 6.5mm semi-dry in some sales this week so I'm looking forward to that. Cheers :)
Thanks for watching, really appreciate it. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I will be putting up some Lady Elliot Island dives soon, that is real nice too. Be safe and keep it real Brad
Hey Sean, Mate it was flamin' awesome, just did Lady Elliot island and that is really awesome. Hope you are doing well. How is the diving side of things going? Cheers Brad
Gudday Pete, Heidi is awesome, she gets in and gets the job done and really a down to earth type of gal. Thanks for dropping by. We are lucky to have great places like this over here, but I would imagine there is a little paradise anywhere in the world. Be safe and keep it real Brad
Gudday Pete, Go Pro hero Session and a Olympus Tough, nothing to fancy but the tough has just seen it's it day, I took below recommended depth and to watch a camera nearly implode was a bit worry some, will be buying a new one soon with a proper waterproof case for future dives Cheers Brad
@@bradwelch7425 We all mess up! I was on a dive when I looked over at my GoPro, an early version before they went HD, and the dive case wasn't all the way closed and it was filled with water. I snapped it shut and topside it opened with a load bang! Salt water ruined the camera but I was able to dry out the SD card and still pull older videos from it!
@@Pete_R63 Gudday Pete, I did manage to get another trip out of it but now it just won't turn on. looking at a new one, video quality for what I need will be good enough for my budget plus I will get the housing for it. Cheers Brad.
Nice dive mate glad you both enjoyed 🤿🇦🇺👍

It's so awesome that you and your wife dive together. We haven't been diving in over six years...it is time. Thanks for taking me along!!

I saw the flooding, scary. Stay safe and dry

Maybe in Summer time, certainly not in winter but my wife thinks I have no feelings 😁
Thanks for watching Mish.

Hey mate, here from Heidi's stream. I've done a bit of underwater detecting myself. I do some river treasure hunting, too.

What camera are you using? Get a red filter, check out some of my dives in Jamaica. Filter makes a world of difference.
