also it's so sweet that you're considering keeping the one that flies upside down, poor thing probably wouldn't do so well on its own. its kind of amazing that it does that though 😂
right now i am keeping a monarch butterfly that had problems hatching so I helped him and his wings had problems expanding so he is a not able to fly. he is in the generation that will fly down to mexico so he can live up to 8 months. i feed him Gatorade or an energy drink. i dip my finger in it and he drinks right off my finger.
I found two golden chrysalis today and I don't know how to keep them safe before they hatch. I have placed them in an open cardboard box covered with mesh cloth. The temperature here is 38-39 degrees Celsius and it drop 3-5 degrees at night. Please guide me how to take care of them. I really want them to be beautiful butterflies. Also I am unsure about the breed
omg. Girl I need your help.. My lepard gecko is acting crazy. I got her out for a while on the couch and when I put her back in the cage she started running like if something was biting her then her head started twichin and her eyes were closing one at a time fast. I'm scared. right now her head is twichin sometimes.. do u have any idea what's up.
how exactly can I train my Leo to trust me to hold her she has settled down and is comfy but will jump from my hand or slither out and I tried setting my hand in her tank and letting her investigate and she licks it and then ignores it and I cant open it and let her walk out so its easier to get her in my hand because my tank opens at the top
+CurbStompGaming You have to be really patient and persistent. Mine took almost a month to walk into my hand. Leos are curious but also very cautious, so if you put your hand in her tank once a day, even if she doesn't do "anything", she'll eventually get curious and walk up to your arm as soon as she figures out that you are not a threat. Once she starts getting more confortable, you can try getting her out for a minute or so, and as soon as she starts getting nervous, you put her back. That's what I did, and it's worked very well for me and my gecko, now I can take him out for 10 or 20 minutes, until he gets too nervous and I have to put him back. I've also noticed that he doesn't absolutely freak out when I open the doors in the tank, like he used to do at the beginning, so I know he has gotten much more confident with me. TL;DR, be persistent, but don't let him get too stressed.
Paul is like nemo! awww!
i need to get one of these kits, watching them grow is so amazing!
Yeah and what's great is it happens all really quickly :D
Wow that was incredible footage! Your persistence really paid off. Awesome work!
+Ocean Truth thanks, yeah it took some time but so happy i finally got it.
It's amazing that he can fly upside down O_O
Haha yeah it's fine until he dive bombs :')
Keep up the great videos! I am happy to have found others that share my interest in geckos and animals.
I would totally rename the one with different sized wings nemo!

You are the insect whisperer!!
Well done
I loved your video.
Question/Tip: Did you remove the silk of the chrysalis fully? If not it can damage their wings.
If you keep Paul can you keep us updated?
I'm gonna get this kit, how did you get Paul out of the tank and him sitting on your hand really calmly?p without him flying away?
What calcium and multi vitamins do you recommend

theres a face on the wing on the final butterfly that hatched
WOW that was fast lol, I thought it would take longer from chrysalis to butterfly.

+Monique Jeffrey mites? lol anything that could have got on her? or she was spooked.

and I tried the scoop tactic and it doesn't work on her
she explains how to handle one in one of her videos.
+Dan I know that tactic won't work on snow ( my Leo )
