Honestly, Landcross has to be the coolest looking out of all the Combiners. Whereas other Combiners are limited to a single type of vehicle (Stunticons comprise of cars, Aerialbots comprise of jets, etc.) the Multiforce is a random assortment of vehicles and that just adds a little more diversity. I honestly wish we had more Combiners that weren't limited by vehicle type (Stunticons and Aerialbots like i said) or colour scheme (Constructicons, Torchbearers and Predacons) or motif (Protectobots and Combaticons)
@@silverfoil8854 I hope with them revisiting stuff like Victory, RiD 2001, and the Cybertron Trilogy is them slowly returning to the interesting combinations. I am hoping that the Armorizer/Weaponizer/etc figures can eventually become like GodBomber and RiD 2001 Ultra Magnus.
Now I also got an idea. Technicly all multiforce members share the same base body skeleton. So they could all be sold in like 3 voyager class two packs. Each giving us 2 around deluxe sized team members.
I have a shelf dedicated to TF Victory. It is mostly third party but with that said the multi force is the only main cast character that doesn't have a modern figure
I knew of Landcross back in the 90s. I managed to get my hands on a very cheap KO version, which did not last. but I think that it is one of the most innovative super robots ever to have a connection with Transformers. This team of combiners truly need a modern update.
Congrats on your knowledge. I hope this video will make more people like Landcross like we do. I would love to one day get the toy. And yeh, they need a update.
@@silverfoil8854 The individual robots also remind me of the Energon Autobots. If they could combine those two parts of the franchise, it could be an interesting series.
Factoid: Outside of Landcross in Transformers:Victory only in the mainline Transformers the Autobot Combiner the Technobots as Computron are unified in their thought process. The other combiners in the original G1 cartoon their minds clash when they are united in Combiner mode.
I may have played up their relationship for the sake of comedy. But you saw the anime clips, if not the original producers, than at least translators agreed with me.
Ah the Multiforce one of 2 Autobot combiners from Transformers Victory. Made up of 6 members much like the Dino Force and Breast force who combine into my favourite Decepticon Combiner ever LIOKAISER!. Being a Victory combiner the team has a gimmick. The gimmick for this team is that the 6 individual members can combine into 3 slightly larger robots. Probably most known members are Mach and Tackle who were able to raid the Breast Formers base by themselves. Edit: I didn't know they evolved into Gaiacross.
Yeh, I have the soundtrack downloaded, its really good and fits with lots of situations, so I use it often in my videos. (originally Transformers V was suppose to play since the start, but UA-cam copyright bots didn't like it)
@silverfoil8854 Wrote my comment at the start of the video, so I have now! Shouldn't be surprised their was time travel shenanigans; that's practically Transformers bread and butter, right next to war.
@@justinmontana3710 Yeh, worst thing is that when the story was originally written, it just said Landcross was in the 80's with no explanation. People needed to wait 13 years for Vector Prime to explain it all.
Congratulations on your obscure Transformers lore. Sadly im broke, so I hoped this will be the video where I get some money. Smh, my viewers are so smart 😔
Victory Combiners are my favourite combiner teams ever. I like how they are combiner teams with their own individual gimmicks. Dino Force are pretenders who I think did have their own western counterparts in the final 2 years of the North American Release. Land cross who could combine with each other as 2 in 1 robots (insert W reference here). Breast Force could have their chest separate forming a gun and an animal and finally the Brain Masters though I'm not too much of a fan of how Road Caeser looks due to the legs being thicker than his arms. Maybe the Victory Anime and a potential Generations re-do 6 years from now will change my mind. There gimmick is similar to head masters where they have 3 really small figures that form the face once inserted into the robot mode via a sliding gimmick. These were actually brought over to Europe including the UK re-decoed and without the important combiner parts to face Overlord.
I've been lowkey trying to track down a Multiforce set at a good price for a while now. they're lowkey terrible but highkey one of my fave combiner teams
Im sorry chief : ( At least I can say, I don't think Landcross and Gaiacross are that pricey. Thanks to the 2000's Micromasters reiisue, there is still some Landcrosses in the wild. Theres also a bunch of preety good quality bootlegs. Only part of this video that costs an leg and the arm is the Stealth Mode Landcross. Most people didn't even wanted to play with the chasing the variant, and straight up bought full cases, or second hand ones that are fully completed. But for that you can always just spraypaint a bootleg. But yeh, making this video also made me really want the Multiforce.
@silverfoil8854 I love Transformers Victory as a whole, its my favourite Transformers show, ive always wanted toys of the characters from there, hopefully the G1 toys get reissued or we get new versions of them, Liokaiser especially since he's my favourite combiner, tho Dinoking, Roadceasar and Landcross are all also combiners I'd love to get, hopefully those rumors of the core class Legacy Dinobots being repainted into Dinoking are true because I would love that, Hellbat and Mach are some of my favourite TF characters aswell
I would like to see another reissue of the originals and new version made for the current iteration of Generations. Especially due to the resurgence of Victory in the last few years.
I'm glad I could make *this* iconic art :)
Im going to break in to the Louver museum(in minecraft) and hang it there.

Agree.
I always wanted more combiners that celebrate diversity, than try to be unified.
I miss the era of Transformers with the crazy Super Robo combinations.
Me too. I feel Transformers should embrace that side of the DNA more

I don't think so. These days toys are more focused on articulation than gimmicks and playability.
I agree some of the toys from Energon could be repurposed as these characters
Yeh
The Multiforce definitely influenced the Energon combination.
Would make sense Takara looked back at their past, since Energon was an anniversary series
I got the DX Micromaster reissue versions of the Multiforce about 20 years ago, and they're a lot of fun. It'd be awesome to see modern updates...
Agree
Aaron Archer once told me, "No comment", when I asked him if he had pulled inspiration for Powerlink(Energon) from Multiforce.
I see...
I found him in an antique store over Xmas and purchased him! On sale too!
Yoo!
I need to call the police, cause that's a steal!
It would be really cool to get a new version of the team. But it's probably going to be haslab because of how complex it would be.

As an avid TFV fan, I absolutely know the multiforce
Congrats.
I hoped this video will make our ranks grow.
I remember when Victory arrived here with a bad localization. Since the team's name was never stated, I called them "the Combots".
We are the Multiforce!
We always save the day

Japanese Transformers lore always gets so weird...they're so much into time travel too.
That's what happens when originaly stories are written all willy nilly, and 20 years later Corporate makes one guy try to put it in order.
