    I've got a 22. I'm going to now get 44. Nice ring. I've found 2 rings. But you're find is better. Good luck in your digs.

      Thanks. I mainly chose the 44 over the 22 because of the pin point feature. Definitely helps when it comes to digging. Cheers

    It's an interesting hobby, i won a gofind20 a while back, also own a mine lab 705 & a garret pin pointer.

      I can see it becoming quite addictive haha. Nice one on winning the gofind20. I think the Go find 22,44 and 66 replace the 20, 40 and 60 models. I definitely need a pinpointer. Will try and get one soon. Cheers mate

    Great video ! If I turn my go find 44 on and then plug headphones in the volume goes to the max and locks the controls, I have to restart the machine or plug the headphones in before I turn it on. Does your machine also do this?

      It's a great machine. I've since upgraded to the Minelab Vanquish 540. But I think the 44 is a great way to get into metal detecting. A lot depends on your button, but if you're ever looking to upgrade the Vanquish range are very good.

      @@tubedinoz what i really like about the 44 machine, is that it folds up to fit in my backpack as I walk to the parks to go hunting. It has good depth too, for its price range. I've also heard good things about vanquish by miners den dealers

    G'day mate. I have the 66 and I used it twice and the red button locks seem to have stopped working. One popped out and I pushed it back in whilst out in the field. now the screen turns on and off when trying to hold screen at open position. If I put it flat to the shaft it seems to work but you can't look at the screen very well. Any advice mate?

    • @tubedinoz
      @tubedinoz  3 роки тому

      Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I don't have my 66 anymore and not sure what you can do to fix the problem, apart from getting it repaired. Hopefully it's still under Warranty. Might be with contacting Minelab directly to see if they can help you too. Cheers

    • @timm2824
      @timm2824 3 роки тому +1

      @@tubedinoz I Decided to take it apart to figure it out as paying Minelab to fix it seems ridiculous considering it's been used a handful of times and it has already broken so their credibility is shot as far as I'm concerned. So I removed the lock button using a tab insert tool. The issue so far as I can see is the spring that is supposed to provide tension to create the lock is missing. I will now go and buy a new spring at a hobby shop to see it it works

      @@tubedinoz I was going to purchase a 66 but I've seen mixed reviews about build quality . These days I get out about 8hrs a week , some field's have lots of stubble and that worried me . I have gone for the Quest x10 pro now mainly because it can be used up to 3m underwater , I may do some snipeing this summer 👍
