The original Little House was the first book I owned and read all the time. Still love the classic. Long time since I’ve seen this short… I prefer Virginia Lee Burton’s original and my imagination.
Poor Little House at 2:30 to 2:44... Those 2 mansions are such selfish and vain ignoramuses. I feel sorry for the Little House. Good God, she was only trying to be neighborly. Nothing wrong with that.
I believe it was a time when little kids thought construction machine like those were monsters. Once Upon a Forest did something like that, calling the machines Yellow Dragons.
Reminds me off what's happening now. The countryside is not the same. There is new construction every day. Really wish they'd leave the countryside alone.
📺 i truly do miss watching these type of great cartoons from back in the day as a young kid. Great memories, great times and great entertainment. I will say the cartoons of today are terrible and are not enjoyable to watch the way these older ones are
Miss Burton has denied this story was about Urban Sprawl that was going on when this book was published Still a good story & I need to get her other books Like Choo Choo
I SAW THIS DAYS AGO AND UA-cam KEEPS SUGESTING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND F-ING AGAIN. STOP REPEATING MULTIPLE TIMES OF THE SAME SUGGESTIONS ON STUFF I'VE ALREADY SEEN.
“But pains, even broken ones, are soon forgotten.” That’s a solid fact, right there.
Makes sense. 🏠
@@desireetello5755Mmm-Hmm
This Made Me Cry. Man Old cartoons back then always had to deal with something like this.
Yes he was! I love hearing that voice.
It's quite peaceful sounding.

Not gonna lie. The visual of those mansions on fire is genuinely terrifying. Had I seen this as a child, that would've been absolute nightmare fuel.
3:00 It's still ironic that the Little House was ignored but ended being the one that survived.
It's crazy because as adults, we realize we're all watching sentient objects being killed in various ways throughout this cartoon.
3:22 "What a pity!"
5:07 "Good riddance!"
Jeez! She got really sour over time!
Moral of the story, don’t have neighbours.
😢😢😢😢😢😢
"After The house arrive at wrecking place it recall the old days .......until nothing remain from the little house"

Made me cry...so true

Why are those cranes shaped like dinosaurs?
I believe it was a time when little kids thought construction machine like those were monsters. Once Upon a Forest did something like that, calling the machines Yellow Dragons.
If you ask me, those mansions were plain snobbish and just didn't like her. And they were both like, "Hmmph! Peasants."
6:30 "NEW MURDER" XD
Thanks for uploading. :)
6:09 These city buildings look like cog buildings from Toontown.
Looks like suburban sprawl in the Chicago in the 60s.
Finally somewhere the comment section isn't locked.
F*ck youtube kids.
I hear you. UA-cam kids always not letting us leave comments or cancel us out the moment we leave one, it really can get on everyone's nerves.
Wow this was depressing except at the very end
I am really glad to see positivity in old cartoons. 😇
The little house must be very happy now. From begin to the end.
Yes you are right. Look at the intro there's a note that it is based on a story by Burton
R U still alive?
Our First Story is called The Little House.
My favorite 😍 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Reminds me off what's happening now. The countryside is not the same. There is new construction every day. Really wish they'd leave the countryside alone.
Reminds me of the movie “UP” where they showed something like this at the beginning.
The narrator is voice mr.stork
Pooh Bear from the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh
And Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
He was also the narrator for Peter and the wolf.
Moral of the story: There's no place like "home". Get it?
