Great to see you trying to save every part that was possible. Its something i try to do with almost every build i do. I hate tossing out parts that are still perfectly fine.

i’m building this exact bike right mines (2004) now its been over 2 years since i started it , it was my bike that i had in highschool , it had seized and sat a couple years and she’s fully powderedcoated black and has yz revolution plastic kit from r tech and over 2k in aftermarket parts and just saving up for black wheels and scalvini works pipe and im done. you’re build is really nice i like that you kept it oem 🔥

I’m loving what you have done so far! It looks great. I agree that black rims and replacing the ignition cover and sprocket guard with something else.

I dont bother fixing radiators i just upgrade them. Better cooling means more power especially on a race bike

That bike looks SOOOOOOO freaking awesome!!! My son is doing the same thing to his 99 YZ 125. Any luck with red radiator shrouds? My son can't find anything in red and we even emailed a few plastic manufacturers. We were told that it can be done.....but we needed to order 80 pieces to do it!!!
I have not find any red plastics, decided to do all white and then play with the graphics. Decals MX can match the red color of the frame so it should look pretty good once we are done. Thats so cool your son is doing the same project, have fun guys!!

Are you keeping it for good ? to ride on and off when you feel you need to yjrow around the smaller displacemet 125 ,134 ,144 depending on weight in my opinion, I left mine a 125 my weight isnt much. I noticed no wheelies on the KX112 what its gone ?
hey craig, yes this one is going to be a keeper 134 race gas screamer for the occasional moto fun! We dont have kx112 no more, we decided to keep yz85 instead, better size for my son to learn on and use most of it hopefully
