Yes you can. Whatever gear at whatever revs, you can give yourself more or less boost by using the cruise control. However you will only be able to boost up to the max set by your tuner in the software.
So can you also boost at specific rpm?
What does "touch the boost control" even mean?
When using flex-fuel, how do we know what boost level the ECU is set at when the ethanol content changes? Example: max boost set by tuner is 30psi at 85% ethanol but I am currently at only 20% ethanol on same calibration (map) and I select Max boost on steering wheel. How will I know what max boost I am currently at at the lower ethanol content?
Max boost set by the tuner is the Max boost. It won't go higher than this whatever you set the boost target at. And to see what boost you are achieving depending what your Ethanol content is, you'll need to either get a Retail Programming kit and carry your laptop in the car or invest in our new Bluetooth Vehicle Interface and ECU Connect App. The bluetooth allows you to live log on your phone. www.ecutek.com/downloads/marketing/factsheets/Nissan_GTR_ECU_Connect_2017_Fact_Sheet.pdf

I hold down the cancel button and can't seem to go into race mode? It just goes to map switching
Right. That's what it's supposed to do. Then you have the option of switching between 4 different maps. These maps have to be set up by your tuner first. One of those Maps could be higher boost and quicker shift points, so select that map and things will go faster. Call it race mode if you like. But as I say, it's got to be set up by your tuner first.
I hear this also works on Nissan Juke. Do you there also have an in car indication of the boost pressure? And does cruise control still work normally?
