Greg was estranged from the Gems early in the series because of the fallout with Amethyst, and his garage was a mess. By the end of the episode though, Amethyst has accepted that she can never replace Rose in Greg’s heart, and even repairs the broken picture of Greg and Rose. The Baggage is now gone, and the garage is clean.

From the context clues that we have been given its easy to see that Greg and Amy had a "thing" after Rose gave up her form to become Steven, whether it was physical or just a one time thing. okay I can see her liking him, being his cat for a while, then see him missing Rose and then turning into her the first time in front of him. But that's where I think it stopped, Greg wasn't okay with Amethyst being Rose and demanded her to change back telling her that she could never be Rose, Amethyst being Amethyst didn't stop just to see if Greg would get use to it, but he didn't and that the reason why he says "I know you're doing it, I want to be friends again, I really do, But I can't let you do this to me again." I don't think she was trying to be Steven's mom, I don't think Greg ever kissed her, and I defiantly don't think Greg ever got to a physical relationship with her, Greg said "-I want to be friends again, I really do-" not "-I want to love you again, I really do-" showing that Greg only ever saw her as a friend even if she looked like Rose. If he had kissed her and went further, they would have more awkward moments knowing what they did and there would be more signs of them actually liking each other.
I honestly think this has some ground, there are a few similarities between Amethyst and Greg and that could be her feelings for Greg coming through the surface, her hair and affinity for messiness (her room compared to Greg’s van or garage) as well as her rockstar attitude all might be her trying to be more like Greg to get him to notice her, or it could be the years spent with Greg rubbing off on her, either way this was a great theory so keep it up :D

I think since only half of steven is rose then the other half is part of lion. This would explain how lion has roses sword. In one of the episodes of steven universe we can see rose with a few other lions, who do not seemed alarmed by her. Interesting theory. I’ve been a fan of Steven Universe since the beginning and, to this day, Maximum Capacity was always the most confusing episode since I never understood what was going on. Literally everything about the conflict was presented through subtext and subtlety. And no one I knew could really tell me what exactly was going on between Greg and Amethyst

Ok I specifically looked this up because I was (binge) watching reaction playlists to Steven Universe and I thought something was really weird. Why did people see this as a familial bond type thing? At all? It feels like it's heavily implied something adult happend between the two, and while the severity is questionable, it's clear something happend? Anyways, good video, one of the most obscure plotlines.

From the context clues that we have been given its easy to see that Greg and Amy had a "thing" after Rose gave up her form to become Steven, whether it was physical or just a one time thing. If you are able to put on your "adult-o-vision" glasses it becomes easier to see that, yeah, Amy did the "do" with Greg

okay I can see her liking him, being his cat for a while, then see him missing Rose and then turning into her the first time in front of him. But that's where I think it stopped, Greg wasn't okay with Amethyst being Rose and demanded her to change back telling her that she could never be Rose, Amethyst being Amethyst didn't stop just to see if Greg would get use to it, but he didn't and that the reason why he says "I know you're doing it, I want to be friends again, I really do, But I can't let you do this to me again."
I don't think she was trying to be Steven's mom, I don't think Greg ever kissed her, and I defiantly don't think Greg ever got to a physical relationship with her, Greg said "-I want to be friends again, I really do-" not "-I want to love you again, I really do-" showing that Greg only ever saw her as a friend even if she looked like Rose.
If he had kissed her and went further, they would have more awkward moments knowing what they did and there would be more signs of them actually liking each other.
So amethyst tried to seize the moment with greg after rose's demise?

I honestly think this has some ground, there are a few similarities between Amethyst and Greg and that could be her feelings for Greg coming through the surface, her hair and affinity for messiness (her room compared to Greg’s van or garage) as well as her rockstar attitude all might be her trying to be more like Greg to get him to notice her, or it could be the years spent with Greg rubbing off on her, either way this was a great theory so keep it up :D

I think since only half of steven is rose then the other half is part of lion. This would explain how lion has roses sword. In one of the episodes of steven universe we can see rose with a few other lions, who do not seemed alarmed by her. Roses other half being in lion also explains how he has some of roses things and can make a portal to roses secret weapon room.
Another ending to this theory/fanfic:
When amethyst shapeshifts to Rose, Greg was offended and the relationship ends there right away.
Hey, I have a theory. What if amethyst and greg did it? That would not only explain why she said that she had seen his "junk" before, but that would also explain the 2 stars on her legs. They look identical compared to the star on greg's old shirt, besides, why else would the stars both look the exact same. It would only make sense.

I think theres more to Amethyst's reasoning. She told Greg "I used to have somebody to be there for me but then she started hanging out with you!" I think her and Greg used each other as a means of coping with Rose's death or physical sacrifice or whatever. It didn't end well and now Steaven is caught in the middle of what can only be described as supreme awkwardness.

Maybe lion was a cat and he died witch made Greg sad so rose brought lion back to life and (like in the episode “Lars’s head”Steven brought Lars back to life using healing tears and when Lars got brought back to life his hair turned pink due to Steven’s gem magic)it was turned pink (but idk how Greg’s cat got so big and got so much fur after getting brought back to life)
