Is it possible that 2nd fish you caught was a pure laker? It sure looked like it to me...

Big fan of your channel. I've only managed to make it to this lake once. We were skunked, but beautiful lake. Hoping to try again this summer. Do Splake follow the same thermocline as Lakers ?

Beautiful lake and beautiful Splake catches. I have yet to catch a Splake and would love to catch one... OMG What a beautiful Brown too.. Nice releases too... great tip about pulling the hook out of the net before pulling the fish out.. Loved the technique you showed at the beginning while you were trolling where you pulled the rod and let it back again. My boyfriend showed me that one when fishing at Burleigh Falls Ontario and it works like a charm in the pockets at the bottom of the falls in the rush of the water. We fish some nice Walleye there. Excellent tips and techniques and great video and beautiful fish...
