I bought one of these recently and I like it. As Marty said it is great if you need to save space. I knew I would only use it occasionally so I thought the mini would work well and it has. Great review.

Thanks again for keeping us all interested in guitar journeys. You put in a truck load of time and I just want to say that we all appreciate it my friend. You’ve probably covered it before but I ask anyways. I just recently pick up a es339 pro; it’s an Epiphone but I still really enjoy playing it. My request is a sound comparison between Epiphone and Gibson. Maybe a 339 or 335. You could maybe use your Heritage and compare an Epiphone to it. Anyways thanks again m8.

Using a small piece of a white sticker, you can make center indents easily visible.
Marty, That mini TS matches your Strat, at least the spots that still have paint! LOL!
Those Ibanez TS's and the various EH Muff Fuzzes are great sounding units when used tastefully. Great video and demo.

Bought one today!! I've no trouble for space on my board but I like having extra room for more pedals and also space between them where I'm not stepping o n tje wrong pedal by accident.

Great demo Marty! I owned a TS-9, TS-mini and the 35th anniversary TS, all sound great but the TS-mini impressed me most.
Agree. I always though the Mini sounded the least fizzy.

Awesome video as always! Just started stacking overdrives recently. Would you stack a Tube Screamer Mini TSMINI before a Boss Blues Driver BD-2? My signal chain: Empress Buffer+ Boost -> TS MINI -> BD-2. Will they work well with the Empress Buffer+ Boost?
Marty, I just got a Vertex Steel String Clean Drive- you should try it out - it is my new favorite pedal for playing the Blues!
I just got one. I put a TC electronics Forcefield compressor before it to give me more sustain , boost and of course compression.

Great video Marty, I do have a question tho. I’m in college and looking to getting into my first real amp but don’t have the money to drop on a nice tube amp. I was wondering if there is such a device that I could buy down the road that I could run into a solid state amp that would give it tube tone?
Blackstar real tube overdrive pedal. It has a real tube in it that glows and gives you more warm valve gain , compression and sustain than the mini TS pedal does but the mini TS is more reliable and less noisy.

Marty, your UA-cam videos and DVDs are awesome! I'm just now researcher mug some pedals and would love some input. I'm torn between a few mini/small pedals, and a multi-fx like Headrush....
Pedals I'm considering are a handful of drives, including this or east river drive, soul food, crayon, and blues driver, a dyna comp, mini cry baby, flashback 2, carbon copy,phase 95, hall of fame 2 , holy grail nano, and M5 for the Swiss army pedal... Obviously not all of these, they're just the ones that have caught my attention... I'd guess 8 or so should have most bases covered... I like blues, and classics, but not into metal...
Research has me thinking a board, power supply, patch cables, and even half a dozen or so pedals would have me pushing the price of the Headrush... I'm no purist, and any of the newer digital stuff would sound better than my own skills and current guitar/amp...
Should I start with a smaller/cheaper multi-effect...and then upgrade skill and guitar... OR, save for the full on Headrush....OR, start snagging pedals one at a time? I'd likely start with a drive and M5 to experiment with.... My current Amp is the Marshall MG30CFX, I know it isn't the best for tones, but it does let me experiment with a few sounds and FX, and with the foot switch I'm able to store a few presets.
Any advice into the world of pedals, effects, and tones, would be most appreciated..... And you mentioned recommending gear reviews... Helix or Headrush would be cool reviews, also low cost entry level amp recommendations or reviews... I'm hoping to upgrade my amp to something like a Crush35RT with its FX loop soon, but will be looking at slightly bigger amps with FX loops as well...
