the 6-string is an ibanez rgd which is built with a longer scal made specifically for downtuning. Amazing guitars. They are both tuned to G. The 6 string just sacrifices their high E

He's playing an RGD, which is a baritone version of the Ibanez RG w/ some extra routing done on the body to make it look different. Baritone guitars can handle low tunings much better than standard-scale ones. For example, Meshuggah's 8-strings have a 27 inch scale to help facilitate the lower tuning a bit better.

well guys, u can play extended range with 6 string.. u can use any combination of guitars.. its all about tone chasing and whats comfortable to the player. I own 3 7's and 4 6 strings.. most are schecters, but had an 8 string schecter and actually traded it for a ltd 6 string... so the possibilities are endless, great djent video too. loved it

I like blinded colony yes! also i love stuff like meshuggah, animals as leaders, tesseract vildhjarta periphery between the buried and me ect. but that would not reflect on my knowledge about guitars, would it? btw the majority of the bands i mentioned use ibanez guitars!

Why is everyone so curious about the 6 and 7 string differences? You can play low tunings on 6 strings very well of you have heavy gauge strings. But I'm guessing some of you must have the money to afford a 7 string when you want to play low tunings.
