Cloud Stitch | A Beautiful Crochet Stitch for Blankets!

- Опубліковано 2 лип 2024
- The Cloud Stitch is a wonderfully textured crochet stitch that creates a beautiful fabric that has the texture all to one side.
The other thing to note right from the start is that this pattern is a super easy two row repeat. The first row is a combination of slip stitches and cluster stitches which the second row is a return row of single crochet. It is so easy!

For this tutorial I will be using a 5 mm Birchwood crochet hook by Rowan Yarn and the Pima Cotton by Lion Brand Yarn in a single colour.

Church, coffee and crocheting with Sarah...I love Sundays! Thanks for sharing
This stitch might be for my next blanket. Thanks so much for sharing, and I love the name you gave it 😊!
Beautiful stitch, I cannot wait to work a sample up.
What a great stitch! I think it would make a terrific dishcloth with those "bumps" to help scrub.
Thanks for this... I've always avoided patterns with slip stitches because, for some reason, I have a terrible time working into them. Gonna give this one a try since you say it's not so bad with the cluster stitch next to the slip stitch!
I just bought some higher quality cotton yarn and think I'll make a tea towel, dish towel size. Thank you for teaching me a new stitch!
You have a nice soothing-homey comfy motherly voice. Totally subscribing 😅❤
& I can't wait to try this stitch! 😍
Yes! I could listen to her all night to sleep ❤
I make quite a few blankets and will be trying this pretty pattern. Reminds me of the Floret stitch. Thanks Sarah!
Sarah, I will definitely enjoy this stitch it is so pretty. Thank you very much ❤️

A lovely simple stitch pattern
Totally awesome ! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!❤
A pretty way to get some texture with a simple stitch!
It looks easy and I need easy right now. I've been crocheting for over 60 years but I've been having trouble with the more complicated stitches lately...old age :)
I can't imagine all the amazing things you have created over the years❤
@@norapeterson6331 thank you. You made my day :)
@@justagramma awwww, I'm glad! ❤️❤️❤️
i hope you upload left handed videos as well 🤞
Easy and nice😍😍
Bravo❤
They look like french knots for embroidery.
I love all of the tutorials, but I've noticed that if I want to incorporate these stitches into a project that requires an increase or a decrease, it isn't shown. Could the increases and decreases be included?
I think it’s any even number, what she said, so you can just keep going up or down as long as the chain is an even count. I did my chain 42. With the foundation chain, it drops 1 stitch count to 41. Works perfectly because you start and end with a slip stitch. I hope this helped.
Does anyone know if I order yarns from Lion Brand or Yarnspiration, do I have to pay import fees if I am in Canada.
