This channel features instructional & highly edited video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns and other uniquely transformative videos. One thing I can say about both Splatoon games is how nice they are to watch with all the backgrounds, visually appealing characters, and pretty colors. It looks like such a satisfying thing to color everything in ink.
it feels like yesterday when i was like 9 in 2016 playing splatoon for the first time, being completely clueless, and just barely getting by in the single player because i was so bad. I got mad nostalgic man

I missed the good old days when I play Splatoon 1, and first getting started on the game, and then play every day to continue story mode.
My favorite part is when ya go into the Octolings uprising course! The ink color ya get is just my #1 fav!
The Wii U was the best and popular, before the Nintendo Switch!

@@cuiscopper Pretty true, but my guess for the failure is cause of how it had evolved throughout it's history... it just didn't do much changes though it was the reason the Amiibos were born and how it made new games occur like Splatoon, it just wasn't really making much more on some things... then again, that's just what I think anyway...!
I remember playing this back in 2016! It was awesome! But of all enemies and bosses, the octolings and octo-nozzle's the only guys that I MOST want to take down!

Can’t believe Splatoon is 8 years old. Also, am I the only one that prefers this game over the sequels? I don’t know why but there’s just something about the first game that feels special.
Can say the same about the first Dead Rising game. It just got that better vibe than the sequels, and a great beginning for a great franchise.
I’d rank them as:
1. Splatoon 3
2. Splatoon
3. Splatoon 2
I enjoy this game more than the sequel when it comes to special weapons and gear abilities. Hope Splatoon 3 improves the mechanics.

There’s also another way to play online battles in Splatoon 1 when the servers shut down
this is literally so nostalgic i used to play this around 2016, when i got my first nintendo switch (then a lite and now the oled model), for some reason the whole vibe while playing story mode just scared me and idk why. i remember also while playing online battles i just dreamt of getting the big ole roll thingamajig as everyone kept killing me and left me amazed. now, with splatoon 3, i finally own it.

I wish they remaster this game for the Nintendo Switch. It would nice to have all 3 Splatoon games on one console.
It is a shame that it's locked behind the Wii U, if you're a new fan it's not easily accessible

I just got (and then grinded until I beat) Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3. I missed Splatoon 1, and I'm not going to go get a whole Wii U just to play it, so this is the next best option
Turns out holding my Switch behind my phone and mimicking the inputs leads to a strange but pretty immersive experience

So this is a story mode fighting game? No free roam, or other cool stuff like Splatoon 3 (as far as I can tell by the trailer).
I was a fan of the first game but now my Wii U doesn't even charge because it's charger is broken and we can't find a replacement and plus even if we did it will not work
