Just saw your comment. Same thing happened here. I currently working on justification. The NFPA standard is antiquated. They only require a cheesy manilla rope that is really weak anyway. Plus there are already 2 dogs for a reason, redundancy. I'm going to put together some more documentation and comparison videos to resell it. My point is the efficiency of resetting the ladder to another location. Besides the advantages in the video.
Tried to pitch this to my Dept but it got shot down fast because I guess the halyard has to be tied off per NFPA
