Clear, concise, and also pretty entertaining. Your comment about the viability of a dangling rope at the end is worth the price of admission. Thanks for a very helpful video
The hoist rope on my 24 ft extension ladder broke today. After watching your video it will be fixed tomorrow. I use zip ties for a lot of things but your use of them was pretty clever. I was looking up rope clamps but will save myself some money. Thanks!
Wow! Thank you, I really needed someone to show me how to string a ladder. Your demonstration was clear and direct. Please do not minimize your contribution because others have done a similar video. Thank you again for your help. I look forward to more of your videos.
Thanks for that wonderful comment. So glad to see you appreciated the video and that it's helped you out. Joeblows like me just get lost in the shuffle of "professional UA-camrs".
Was restringing a ladder that was left at the house I moved into. Turns out the feet were ripped off and I was doing it all backwards/upside down. Couldn't properly compare with other peoples rushed tutorials. Now I know I have bigger problems a foot.
Canada feels like another planet to me when I watch videos from there. Not because of you in the video but all the background sounds and sights.. I would love to see / your story Your a strange yet fascinating cat. I found you in the messages watching one of Steve Ramsey’s old halloween episodes. Hope this finds you well and content
Thanks for visiting my planet, you're welcome here anytime my friend. If UA-cam would get their -beep- together, I would of gotten this notification 6 months ago when you wrote your comment. The last couple years has been pretty rough here and videos have been the lowest priority on my hit list but things are actually picking up for my wife and I this year and we'll be moving about 4 1/2 hours North/East, pretty much into the middle of nowhere. I will be putting out more videos on projects that have been siting in limbo and putting at least a "little" more effort into my channel. Hope to see you around, and hoping all is well with you and your family.
So after watching a million and two (you where off by one) videos on restringing a ladder... I still remove all the ropes from my extension ladders :( Ropes are evil and try to trip you.
A million and two? Damn, someone must of posted one while I was editing mine. LoL Ya, those nasty ropes are out to get you my friend. No, but seriously, you do know that the pulley is intended to slide to the side right? Once the ladder is up you slide the bottom rope over to the side as well as the pulley, you then get a somewhat trip free environment. Hey, do let me know if you are playing any gigs my way (Lake Simcoe area, Orillia, Toronto, Barrie whatever) I would love to see you play but your neck of the woods is a bit too far. I certainly don't mind an hour or two though. We do get out to Barry's Bay once in a blue moon but not very often these days.
Well, not everyone can be as good as the paint life video. Maybe one day though... one day. Thanks for dropping in. (Love your "steal your face" avatar btw)

Zip ties and duct tape keep the world spinning my friend.
Thanks for dropping by, so glad I could help save a little scratch.
Hey, a million & 1 was worth it! Nicely done with down to earth explanation, good job, thanks.
I appreciate the feedback, thanks for dropping by!
LOL, correct me if I'm wrong but that IS a "nylon" rope, complete with melted ends to prevent fraying.
It's a weird fake para cord type rope that does indeed melt to keep from fraying.
Thanks for dropping by.
Best video on the topic I’ve seen!

Thanks for the video, amazing how many I have watched that didn't mention if you tie the knot to the extension.
Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to throw me a bone. I appreciate it.

You're quite welcome, glad it helped you. Thanks for dropping by.
Great video, thanks
Did those zip ties survive the UV Ray's?
So far so good, hangs on the sunny side of the shop.
Thanks for dropping by.
Best video yet
I appreciate that. Thank you and thanks for dropping by.
Wrong you should connect the second knot to the same rung as the first knot after going under bottom rung that way you have no slack that saggs
Nice job god bless
Thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for popping by.
My speed 🤪👍🏾
👍✔💯..
Your video was good
Thank you and thanks for swinging by to see it.
Your hand blocked the whole knot tying
My apologies, sometimes I forget where my hands are when doing a video. Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate the feedback.

His hands were in the way the entire time he was tying the knot, the paint life video is much, much better.

11 f minutes to explain something that takes 30 seconds. 🙄
And you still had time leftover to post a comment... amazing!
