Hi Rachel, hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas Day. I must agree that you do work hard - almost everyday! Thank you. Also Rachel on Boxing Day morning I sat in bed with a cup of tea and looked at the wonderful papers from Italy - one by one - which arrived a couple of weeks ago. They are glorious! They made me feel so happy!🌷🌻🪴 Thank you!
Choosing the papers for the signatures is one of my favorite parts of journal making. I enjoyed watching you choose yours and then sewing them in. Can't wait for the next part Happy Holidays❄☃💙
I am so glad you showed this method of sewing in the signatures..I made a journal for my sister and did a spine like that but made the mistake to not gluing the fabric to cardboard. I struggled so much but eventually got it done but not a success. Next time I will be ready for it. Thanks so much Rachel.😮😂🎉
5 signatures! Nice. I think there might be a page duplicated in the first signature. GIOVANNI? Something like that. Beautiful print. Looking forward to more work in this journal,😊 and the other smaller one you are working on to show us. You make binding look easy.
That punching tool is brilliant, another advantage of it is the holes in the cloth remain visible instead of closing up. Must look into getting one. Thank you. By the way, I find you very clear and love that you share your whole process. Hard to ignore those negative comments I know, don't know if some people realise that there is an actual human being with feelings reading their nastiness. Still no excuse though. ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Rachel, that was so cool. I know I’ve watched you do this before, but it never gets old. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful New Year and stay safe if you travel. It’s always the idiots on the roads you have to worry about. 👏🏼👏🏼💕💕🙏🏽
Such fun watching do the process. Thanks for the tip about letting the glue on the pages dry before folding! It does make sense. Hope you are well Rachel!
Very well explained Rachel. I love watching you pick the papers. It gives me confidence to add things that I otherwise wouldn't. Hi sweet Lulu! Listening to you talk about falling in the hole, we had new neighbors move in behind us a couple of years ago. He is a hot stud. No kidding. I'm out there moving the hose around to water new shrubs and he is also outside. I tripped over the hose and face planted myself in the lawn. Talk about humiliating. He asked if I was okay and I replied, yes, nothing hurt but my pride. 😊
GREAT INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO! Learned so much while getting to see all your gorgeous papers at the same time!! It's going to be so cool watching you fill these journals! Thanks Rachel! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing how to do this! I’ll watch the video several more times before giving it a try. I have some books I’ve been saving just for this ❤
I love watching the process. I had to laugh when you mentioned the Italian ... I immediately thought of Fabio. Yeah, Aussie here. The papers are lovely. Happy New Year.
rachel these journals are awesomely beautiful!! love the covers and the gorgeous papers you chose. thanks for the holiday videos. linda from california
This is such an excellent video! I have watched you many times preparing your signatures, but this is the best video of your process to date. Thank you for everything you share - your gorgeous kits, your ephemera and fabric packs, and of course, your creative ideas and your wonderful videos that have had such a positive impact on the journaling community!
That was a really informative video Rachel! My gosh, I learned a lot today. You make it look so easy 😍 Thank you for sharing and I love to see what you are creating ❤ Hugs from 🇸🇪
More beautiful journals in progress! I am going to work on several covers today and select my pages so I can work along with you. You explain the process very well and I learned how to do the hidden spines from you last year. Thanks Rachel❤️
When i have a ‘difficult’ size number, i fold the piece in half to find the center, that makes my (journal )life easier (if i remember that trick at the particular mommet😊) Always so wonderful to see your papers becoming journals!🍀💖
Hello lovely Lulu 🙋🏼♀️. Happy Saint Stef day Stef😊. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day . I'm going to Brisbane for NYE from Tassie, hope the storms will be over with by then 😳. This journal is so stunning Rachel, so very clever and informative. 👌🤗
On the grid line paper you used that you said you got from Ali Express are they A4 size or smaller. I have only found 10 x 6. Hope you and your family had a good holiday. Beautiful Journals as always. Thanks Sandra
I’ve been working on creating a template that I can make copies of and use as needed. I don’t do enough of this sort of thing to experiment. I love doing it but what would I do with them all? 🤷♀️
You ALWAYS explain well! I love watching you set up the pages!
Thank you so much!

Hi Racheal could you please tell me where you purchased your paper cutter many thanks
Do you know how to use Google shopping? That will tell you all the different places it's for sale, for the most part. 😉
@@margaretcomella3318 know i don't no how to use Google shopping but will get help many thank happy new year
It’s by Tonic. I bought it on Amazon
How do you decide if it's going to be an open or glued spine?
If tghe spine is reasonably flat I glue it to the spine. If it is quite curved I float it.
@@roxycreations679 Thanks. I need to get cracking! ❤
