I need this game. Forget VR, I need and I believe the gaming world needs a next-gen dinosaur game. I think Survival Horror would be good but even if it was just exploring I would pay a pretty penny for it.

Open world Jurassic survival game is very much needed and not the easy survival bullshit, actually make it hard to survive for once, that way we will actually feel the thrill of running from a t-rex because we know fully well we can't take it down unless you have some serious gear! Open world, loots across the world that you can mark on a map, free roaming dinosaurs, weapons stashes in abandoned buildings that you have to find to be able to survive, crafting abilities to make weapons or health packs, food and water, day and night, come on game developers please give us what we want!
Pretty sure that's a Mapusaurus. It has 3 fingers, decent sized arms, yet it's in between the size of a T-Rex and Allosaurus. Not too big, yet not too small. This could, very well, be confirmed in the game soon though.

Ok, the good stuff: 1. Wonderful Model quality; 2. Amazing animation and visual effects; 3. Great sound effects; 4. By the looks of it, the t-rex has at least 2 different skins. Now, the bad stuff: 1. Arms have 3 fingers instead of 2, which is wrong for the t-rex; 2. Arms are still looking like the "bunny arms", which is SO wrong; 3. The main part of the skull (the braincase basically) needs to be much wider to make the eyes face forward, which is one of the main advantageous feature of the rex compared to pretty much any other carnivore that makes it distinctive even amongst all other from its family. All of that said, I still look forward to it!
This demo feels like it's missing shadows or something. The inside of big dinosaur's mouth really shouldn't be so bright and shiny with so much direct lighting

A bit like Ark, but with more of a focus on the survival aspect, rather than the gathering and building. Along with making you feel small and insignificant like this demo did. Imagine a game where you have to manage to sneak around an island with shit like that around. Where it isn't out trying to kill YOU, but if it picks up your presence it will hunt you down for an easy meal. THAT is the kind of thing I would love in a survival horror game. Those creatures looked "real", they acted like they were alive. Not the janky and stiff movements most games have. That sort of thing would just added to the tension and atmosphere if done right.

Suprisingly, I'm not really impressed by this demo. The dinosaur's mouth doesn't look that realistic. The lighting in its mouth seems fake. Hell, the dinosaur itself seems fake. The colors and lighting aren't top notch here on the dinosaur model.

A decent Dinosaur game with a good story and amazing atmosphere would be nice - but this looks more to showcase of Virtual Reality more than anything. Sadly - the only game like that I've ever played is the video game tie in to Peter Jackson's King Kong (which was a decent game for what it was). And I don't count Ark: Survival Evolved due to it being an MMO, and thus is limited to a certain kind of gameplay that I don't enjoy.
