ok at the start of the month i got my hands on the vr and i must say it was incredible. yes at 120fps no frame drops it was smooth as butter. this will be amazing

First one was definitely the best one. the graphics were the most realistic IMO, because C2 and C3 exaggerated the graphics a lot. Plus the semi open world island setting was the best, especially for stealth. I would definitely buy the trilogy again if they put it on ps4 and turned the graphics up (hopefully max if possible, I know crysis 3 is still hard to run on even the best of gaming PC's)
There is no way this game will actually look anywhere near as good as this trailer has shown. Many PS4 games are having to render at 900p just to reach a not-so-stable 60fps using a low 65-70 degree field of view. VR games are running two screens, both higher than 900p, are expected to run at 90fps in order to not induce motion sickness, and will us much higher FoVs again in order to prevent motion sickness. There's a reason most of the VR games Sony has shown so far for their VR system look like updated PS2 games.

There are a lot of tricks you can do in VR for things that are not in focus, that you cannot do on a monitor as who knows where your looking on a monitor. Sure this is a demo and not what it will be like, but VR is not all negatives regarding performance.

yes, it is very immersive. You will feel like you are actually there. The trex is at the end after the raptor attack. the first 4 hrs of the game is more just scenery, not much tenseness. the last 2 are the crazy parts. so that's my quick review lol. its a very immersive game tho

Just don't buy it now, wait for a discount. And maybe watch one of the gameplay walkthrough videos before you buy - to get a glimpse of the boring game mechanics you have to endure for the first 4 hours.
I would only buy this if I could play all my games with it. I don't care it's not 3D either or got fancy move controls, although 3D with all games would be great!
Everything loks amasing, but the T-rex loks like a Goat........... Developers should change it. The one in previus episode looks a LOT better. Cant wait to see a final version.
